Well first of all "it" can't produce those sort of works, But "you" probably can, while using it. just remember that a tablet is simply another tool like a traditional pencil or a brush it does not do the work for you like so many people seem to think... I've run across quite a few people who seem to think computers have some magic "make awesome art" button that digital artists use to "cheat" with.
But enough silly ranting...
Honestly most people wont be able to tell the difference in resolution between an intuos or Bamboo. It's really only noticeable when you work with really high resolution pictures (for example, my "Fly in the Dark" painting is about the size of a king sized bed in real life and I don't think I'll ever make the mistake of working in such a high resolution like that again ). Eventually if you find that you like and are good at digital painting you might want to upgrade, but the Bamboo is an excellent start, some professionals even use it because of it's size and cost. So yeah, with some practice you could definitely produce works like those and better with a bamboo.
Anyway, good luck and have fun with it

Thanks I use a Wacom Intuos3 6x8 tablet along with photoshop, and yes practice does help although you cant just draw every day and expect to get better, you have to work at it.
