Sorry I was bocked from the other persons profile and therefore could not respond.

Derp

Lol I'm on the internet. I could pick apart grammar all day long on here and get nowhere...I'm not the best at you're and your...those ones always were my weak point...

Anyway, I have never rejected the theory of evolution completely. I just have yet to see evidence that PROVES it. I believe in Micro-evolution, but have yet to see a monkey becoming a human or a fish becoming a lizard or bird or whatever else. So until i see that I'm able to decline said theory as fact.

So thank you for you're input. I'll make sure to practice my grammar for the people of the internet.

th4n|( u 4 ur t1m3 Derp

And by the way telling people they suck isnt a very good way to prove any point.

"Anyway, I have never rejected the theory of evolution completely. I just have yet to see evidence that PROVES it." = "Real science is hard! So I'm gonna just ignore all the evidence and say I don't see it! BAWWW!"

"I believe in Micro-evolution, but have yet to see a monkey becoming a human or a fish becoming a lizard or bird or whatever else." = "I don't want to be told I'm wrong or anything, so I'm going to cherry pick what I accept! Also, I don't understand what evolution is! =B"

Btw, the fact that you dismiss proper grammar says something about your level of retardation. ;D And this is coming from a filthy foreigner who's first language wasn't even English. LOL

The-Machanist In reply to AlienTiger [2011-01-04 05:25:22 +0000 UTC]

"Everything you've said so far." = "I don't really have any solid evidence so I'm going to distract everyone from me and put it all on you "

Btw the fact I dismiss proper grammar on the INTERNET is because in complete honesty...and I hate to break it to you...No one really gives a rat's ass. Really. I know its hard to believe..but they really dont give a fuck! Fancy that

I have nothing against people who believe in evolution. I do however have something against people like you who go out of their way to attack people who think differently than they do.

This next sentence sums up how seriously I think of you...And yes...I would gladly say this to you're face even if we werent talking on the internet.

You remind me of my 6 year old brother. I can talk to you all I want but at the end of the day...you're stuck in you're flawed logic. dI never said I was right, only that I believe I am. Theres a difference if you know how the english language works I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong when you can have a debate and show me some hard evidence without resorting to pointing out all my flaws and not giving me one shred of actual evidence

You want evidence? Here's a hint. Go read a book. They're out there. I know. It's hard to find anything worthwhile looking into outside of the internet huh? Not to mention all that PROPER GRAMMAR will confuse you. Right? lol

And I have a grudge against IDiots. Which sir you are one. Imagine that!

"I can talk to you all I want but at the end of the day...you're stuck in you're flawed logic." Just like how it's a FLAWED logic to believe you're right? "dI never said I was right, only that I believe I am." I'm guessing you mistyped "I'd" x3

But knowing you... You're not gonna read anything that'll prove you wrong. And you're just gonna keep spouting, "I don't see any evidence! Give me proof!" when it's already out there... Did I get that right? Huh?

That's a good statement to be questionable about, actually. At this stage in my life it's difficult to have gone through such a transition in philosophy; henceforth, it's left me with a fractured ideology I often find conflict with.

If it makes you feel any better, I was there. You know. Jesus loving not that I hate him now, he's still cool. Church going. Question nothing. God praising. Bible worshiping... Yea. I was there.
Then I did some research. Found that the Bible, and every other holy scripture was written by MEN. Found that the God in said Bible sounded very human like and imperfect in a lot of ways.
Concluded that religions were all BS and manmade. Became an agnostic deist. ;D

I have little respect for Deism personally, because of a few major flaws in the reasoning and how it sprung up in Europe during the Age of Reason, but I suppose those are good starting points to question. I went a bit deeper into the questioning process myself, because truth be told there are few things I care about more than figuring out what the hell is going on here.

It's a comfortable thing to believe in, true, but human nature usually asks for conflict in order to reach empirical resolution, and many times the "What is, is" philosophy just won't cut it when you're trying to live your life toward something instead of ingrained helplessly into the social ideology of a shifting world.

Ah, so you are female and teenage. I knew you would be teenage but I wasn't sure about female given that a lot of the left wing males sound pretty effiminate and a lot of the left wing females are aggressive and pushy. Haha, and you DO listen to Lady Gaga. So basically everything I said about you was correct and I didn't even look at your page before now.

Although if I had known for certain that you were female I would have probably taken it a bit easier on you.

And I see you're Asian and dating a white male (just like my last girlfriend). So given that you're an evolutionist I'm going to ask you which race you think is the most evolved. Back during WWII the Germans thought white people were the most evolved while the Japanese thought that Asians were. The argument for Asians being more evolved was that they were less hairy and had less BO. Also there may have been something about the rapid industrial revolution the Japanese had. Of course the Japanese weren't too nice to the other Asian groups they conquered. Of course I realize that you're going to try to say that everyone is at the same level but that belief is incompatible with evolution. If racial differences were produced by evolutionism then someone has to be further up along the evolutionary ladder than someone else. In fact everyone would have to be occupying different rungs along the ladder to represent different levels of progression. So I'm wondering whether you think your boyfriend is more evolved or if you think you are.

All the same

Since ONLY creationists idiots think evolution is somehow related to racism. Nevermind Hitler is the world's most famous Christian.

And thank you for showing what a racist and sexist asshat you are.... Because race and sex matters in an argument... HOW??? Or you just gonna lie about it again? Like you did with, "I smarter cause I older!"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

jmsnooks In reply to AlienTiger [2010-11-26 02:19:00 +0000 UTC]

Wow, you totally did not understand anything I said. I think you should hold off on debating until you develop your intellect a bit further.

And talk about ignorance, Hitler was not a Christian, obviously you don't know much about the stuff he was doing and what he believed. As well as the fact that Darwin was his inspiration.

I'm not racist, but like any good liberal you of course have to resort to making that accusation because you have no actual real argument. Bible believing Christians aren't racist because we believe that everyone is descended from Adam and Eve who were made by God, and it tells us not to call anything unclean which God has made. As for me, my last girlfriend was Asian and my current is Indian (not that that should matter though). But evolutionism has some very strong and negative implications about race, and you can see them born out in WWII and in a lot of what is going on today.

As far as your gender goes, there are women who are smarter than me, but you are certainly not one of them. Women usually are poor debators because they let their emotions run away with them and argue from an emotional standpoint. Once a woman gets mad she typically goes off on a rampage of emotionalism and completely fails to address the points that are being brought up. You are doing these things exactly. Of course if you don't want to hear it from me it was actualyl a woman who said all this first: [link]

"Hitler was not a Christian,"
Oh REALLY?

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before in the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice.... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people.... When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those by whom to-day this poor people is plundered and exploited."

-Adolf Hitler, in his speech in Munich on 12 April 1922

And bringing up one race and sex in an argument is an asshat move. If you have a point to make, make it instead of going, "HA! You iz Asian female!" Cause what does that matter huh?

OK kiddo, it's called propaganda, politicians use it all the time. Obama also says he's a Christian except for that one time he slipped up and said he was a Moslem. If you ever get Hitlers book you can see that he's an evolutionist, and Hitlers god is nature. He uses "God" interchangeably with "nature".

I'm just trying to see if you have thought about the implications of your belief system, and clearly you haven't. It doesn't look like you think much about anything, and you're obviously in a female rage fit which is why you are not addressing any of my point. You are severely impaired when it comes to staying on topic. And you have yet to address my point about evolutionism and race, I'm still waiting for you to tell me who is the most evolved.

Even today I am not ashamed to say that, overpowered by stormy enthusiasm, I fell down on my knees and thanked Heaven from an overflowing heart for granting me the good fortune of being permitted to live at this time.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 5

Once again the songs of the fatherland roared to the heavens along the endless marching columns, and for the last time the Lord's grace smiled on His ungrateful children.

- Adolf Hitler reflecting on World War I, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1, Chapter 7

I had so often sung 'Deutschland ΓΌber Alles' and shouted 'Heil' at the top of my lungs, that it seemed to me almost a belated act of grace to be allowed to stand as a witness in the divine court of the eternal judge and proclaim the sincerity of this conviction.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 5

What we have to fight for is the necessary security for the existence and increase of our race and people, the subsistence of its children and the maintenance of our racial stock unmixed, the freedom and independence of the Fatherland; so that our people may be enabled to fulfill the mission assigned to it by the Creator.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 8

Anyone who dares to lay hands on the highest image of the Lord commits sacrilege against the benevolent creator of this miracle and contributes to the expulsion from paradise.

- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf Vol. 2 Chapter 1

Gee... don't sound like he means "nature" in any of those. And at least I can spell MUSLIM correctly. And who the hell cares what religion the President is anyway? The Constitution says that religion of a person doesn't matter when running for public office.... Let me guess. That's "Propaganda" too huh?

"And you have yet to address my point about evolutionism and race, I'm still waiting for you to tell me who is the most evolved."
First off, ONLY creationists think evolution deals with race. That's one of their emotional PROPAGANDA bs card they pull trying to convince each other that this SCIENCE is "evil". Second. Because evolution doesn't deal with race, I find everyone to be equal... Well... every SENSIBLE person anyway. I'd put you below a dandelion. But just you.

jmsnooks In reply to AlienTiger [2010-11-26 09:50:00 +0000 UTC]

OK, I have a copy of Mein Kampf because unlike you I actually do read from time to time. I will be utilizing the Ralph Manheim translation from Mariner Books, the 1999 edition. As I stated before, Hitlers "God" was nature, and he even personifies "Fate" in some parts of his book. Also unlike you, I will actually post page numbers. But let's see:

"For in the case of the state, as well as the state authority, is for these weak minds a purpose in itself, while in the other, it is only a mighty weapon in the service of the great, eternal life struggle for existence, a weapon to which everyone must submit because it is not formal and mechanical, but the expression of a common will for preserving life. Hence, in the struggle for our new conception, which is entirely in keeping with the primal meaning of things, we shall find few fellow warriors in a society which not only is physically senile but, sad to say, usually, mentally as well."

p. 399

Sound familiar yet? That's an evolutionary philosophy not a Biblical one.

"In this, we must see the correction of Nature. But often she goes even further. She limits the possibility of propagation. Thereby she prevents the fertility of continued crossings altogether and thus causes them to die out."

"If, for example, an individual specimen of a certain race were to enter a union with a racially lower specimen, the result would at first be a lowering of the standard of life itself; but, in addition, there woudl be a weakening of the offspring as compared to the environment that had remained racially unmixed. If an influx of further blood from the highest race were prevented entirely, the bastards, if they continued mutually to cross, would either die out because their power of resistance had been wisely diminished by Nature..."

p 400.

That's enough of that, if you want to read the rest you are welcome to get the book.

But there are plenty of places throughout his book where nature is deified and the act of creation attributed to it. In fact he even capitalizes nature whenever it is mentioned. He sometimes also refers to "Providence" and "Fate" but most of the time it's nature. Hitler's god was nature, just like yours.

His philosophy is thourghly unChristian and antithetical to Biblical teaching, of course I can't expect you to realize that because you have never actually read Hitler, or the Bible. You just copy and paste stuff off of websites and listen to Lady Gaga.

As for Evolution and race, I was just stating the implication evolution has about race, in the past evolutionists did not shirk from acknowledging that. I can produce some Darwin quotes if necessary but for now I think I'll just remind you that his book was originally called "On the origin of species by means of natural selection or the preservation of favored races in the struggle for life."

I don't use emotion in my arguments, just facts and logic. I just wanted to see if you ever thought about the implications of your beliefs and I can see now that you have not. Also, creationists do not argue that science is evil. And on the contrary, I have been quite sensible. You have a long way to go intellectually.

I guess the Bible and Mein Kampf are your two favorite books huh? One shows how evolution is false, and the other shows how it's evil! lol!
But alas... you can't draw an "philosophy" from a science... You CAN with religion. But if you still think evolution IS a religion then "You have a long way to go intellectually".

Mein Kampf is not one of my favorite books, but unlike you I actually prefer to read and acquire knowledge rather than sitting around listening to lady Gaga and copy pasting from talkorigins. I have also read the Communist Manifesto, Lord Shang, and some of the Koran, and a great deal of articles published by evolutionists. Those are all ideologies which I consider hostile, but it's better to know the basis for people's beliefs rather than making assumptions about them. Otherwise I would be like you, trying to make arguments about something which I have never read. I also have read some of the teachings of Siddartha Guatama (spelling?), some ancient Hindu treatises, the Ramayana, the Daodejing, and the teachings of Confucius. I cannot overemphasize the importance of reading.

Actually there is a methodological philosophy in science, and that is the classical scientific method: 1. Form a hypothesis, 2. test the hypothesis through experimentation and observation. 3. Form a conclusion. If the the hypothesis is valid then it is born out by observation, which makes it demonstrable and repeatable. If the hypothesis is not born out by observation and experimentation then the conclusion must be that the hypothesis is invalid. Now that is science. Evolutionism is a philosphy of naturalism, and you will hear "Naturalism" discussed among professional evolutionists and atheistic apologetics who are educated. Not a single stage of evolutionism is born out by the scientific method, although there have been and continually are many attempts to investigate and prove it. Let us take spontaneous generation for example, the evolutionists hypothesized that the first life forms arose from non-life (step 1). They investigated it in a lab by mixing chemicles in different was and under varying conditions (step 2), and nothing happened. So they concluded that they don't know how life came from dirt and rocks completely on it's own, but they refuse to throw out the hypothesis (step 3 is bypassed). The same goes for biological evolution. They are desperate to prove that one kind of animal can turn into another, and they have been able to observe things like one type of dog having offspring with variations, or lizards with variations, but all the traits coding for those variations were already in the gene pool. No dogs are ever born with scales, or lizards born with feathers. So while evolutionists use step one and two, they skip step three because of a philosophical precomittment to maintaining the notion that the origin of the universe must be within the universe itself.

Oh yea... and I never actually copy pasta-ed anything from Talkorigins. Don't believe me? Go back to every reply I gave you. Find it in their website... I. fucking. dare. you.
