I think they could work because they've been such strong friends for such a long time. RD defended FS back in flight school and ever since that bond RD has had a special tender place for her in her heart. FS since then, I feel must admire RD and look up to her in some way, her bravery, her strength. One's weakness is the others strength. For example RD has a strong sense of assertiveness, and FS has a strong sense of nuture, they could teach each other- in short, they balance one another out in perfect harmony. I think a combination of those factors could definitely blossom into love

this is a good argument out of curiosity, do you think RariShy could work too? both the two are girly and have similar interests. FS acts as a mother hen to Rarity, and Rarity teaches FS to be bold and confident (so in a way, similar to FlutterDash)

yea, i basically agree. i think most of the people saying "it wasn't a kiss, it was a bump on the nose!" are a bit insecure. but obviously Hasbro can't admit that it WAS a kiss. as you said, like the Derpy fiasco, it's a sticky situation. i with this stuff didn't have to be so taboo!
