Why thank ye. Sometimes gifs express things so much better than words...

THAT is very true. Though I'm still not very good at using gifs yet.

Just randomly start using them, all it takes is a little investigating to find good ones.
Oh man, I feel so bad for not replying sooner. ;~;
Unfortunately this spring has been immensely heavy on my folks and I, so I've been having to deal with problems of every type.
Hopefully things have been easier on you. :/

Well don't feel bad, darling. Obviously life has been hectic for both you and I! *hugs*
It's alright.
I will practice using gifs more often. I imagine they are quite fun to create as well. I may have to try my hand at making them one of these days...you know whenever I have more time (i.e. that's never going to happen because I'm always busy...)
Anyway, I'm babbling. How are you? I hope things have settled down a little bit?

Hey, I'll be glad to see you experimenting with gifs. And actually making them? Overjoyed. X33
Life has, in a way, settled down a bit. I didn't have to go into work today. But that's because I got sick from a spider bite. Pros and cons, I guess. :T

Yeah, recently the spiders have come out of hiding. The other day my brother and I killed two brown recluses the size of half dollars. Believe me when I say I was too terrified to sleep that night.
(That gif was adorable, by the way.)

IIIIIICCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!
How's that for gif use? I'd be terrified to sleep as well. Brown recluses are terrifying spiders. I remember one time I went out into the garage at my mom's house and the garage door was shut. I turned around and faced the door and there was a MASSIVE spider (probably the size of my hand) sitting in the middle of the door. I screamed because I couldn't escape.
It took ten minutes for someone to find me and kill the thing.
I hope you are feeling better though?

That is a BEAUTIFUL use of gifs.
That sounds absolutely horrifying. I would probably never touch a door again. Unless, y'know, the house was on fire or somethin. :I
And yes I'm feeling much better, thank you. Caught some Z's and now I'm back at 80%~! ^^

So many of them have been coming out lately! Reason number 57 why I really dislike Summer....meh.
We've had quite a few dart around the floor and hang out on the walls. Plenty of species I've never even seen before. It worries me....

Amen to that! Living a bit further north, I'm grateful I don't see as many big spiders as I did at home. Though, I do have to contend with black widows more...which isn't so pleasant either...

I'm mainly worried because my cat is far too curious for his own good. He likes to play with anything and everything that's mobile and accessible. You know how the saying goes, "curiosity killed the cat"....
My dog likes to play with them too, silly thing. She tried licking one once, but she quickly spit it out. Must've bit her tongue or something.
You have my deepest sympathies, friend.
(My apologies for the excessive use of onion gifs, I love them so~)

UGH. Cats can be the worst with curiosity. But dogs can be worse than cats sometimes. It's interesting to see how excited they get by little bugs on the floor.
Here's hoping that neither one of them gets a bite they will regret...*shudder* That just ugh, I don't miss that particular part of living further south.
And don't apologize for your onion gifs. They are lovely.

My dog Xena's a German Shepherd, so she tends to get a little....over-excited about everything she finds. Especially new people. Those poor, poor new souls......
She licked up a quarter-sized house spider once, I'm pretty sure it bit her because she spat it right back out. XD

There's just something about animals that really calms you down. Dogs are so sweet and compassionate and cats are comforting and a steady presence...ugh...I need animals again.

Comforting and a steady presence? Well my cat's certainly a presence alright, but not always the good kind. He likes to "sing" to me at three in the morning, amongst other things. XD
But yes, I love them very much. Especially in the winter. Mobile heaters. -w-

My cat was always comforting. She'd follow me everywhere and sit by me when I would do homework. She'd go to be with me and protect me--and she's was a little fluffy Himalayan. She'd even bring me murder presents...not that I liked them. But she was always a comfort when I was sick or upset. She'd never leave me alone when I needed someone.

Aww, she sounds like an absolute sweetheart. I'm glad you had such a kind-hearted, loving companion. And fluffy.
Toby's pretty much the same, except he's a little more....loud? He's very vocal, especially in the morning when he makes sure I'm "still alive and can I sleep with you". XD
Thankfully he's never brought me a murder present. The only time he's ever killed something was when he cornered a mouse in a banana box and accidentally played tag a little too...sharply...
We immediately threw it away.

Hahah...gotta love cats. They are so diverse in temperament and personality. It's wonderful.
And your cat sounds hilarious and delightful. What a fun cat. Duchess was a sweetheart for me. She was the friend I needed. Though, she HATED everyone else. She was so antisocial except for with me so it was always funny to see someone else try to befriend her.

GloriousAssassin In reply to phantomessangel13 [2014-08-19 02:16:12 +0000 UTC]
Well I'm glad she chose you as her companion, haha. And Duchess sounds like it was the perfect name for her. Cat's are definitely a good creature to have on a rainy day. Dogs are too, but they usually want to romp and play instead of relax. I should know, I've got a Germie. XD
Maybe someday you'll be able to adopt another Dear Little Friend.

I hope I can find a companion like her again. She was a sweetheart and just the perfect friend when I needed her.
And you're right, cats are the best creatures to have cuddled up near your side when it's rainy any you are comfortable on the couch.
You have a German Shepherd?! I LOVE those dogs. They are beautiful.

Due to the general feline race's....variety in personality? You never know what you're gonna get. But sometimes you've just gotta roll the dice.
(Wow....That sentence was practically all quote. ._. )
And yup, I have one. Arguably the best to ever exist. She's SUCH a loving, cuddly, playful "little" sweetheart. X3
And she's a lot calmer than most Germies tend to be, and very loyal to her pack. I might have to post a picture of each of my animals on here someday....if I ever get good at photography, haha.

DO. Take pictures of the cutie. I want to see them!
We used to have a rottweiler who was the BIGGEST lap dog in the world. Her name was Chloe and she was the sweetest dog ever. Not a mean bone in her body. If you sat down on the porch, she'd come right up to you and sit IN your lap. This big fat dog...it was always funny. And she loved to give kisses and she was afraid of thunder storms. Basically, she was a big softy, and a baby.
I think she believed she was a lot smaller and more helpless than she realized.
The funniest thing I remember about her, though, is when I was driving home from a late night concert at school and right before I turned into our house, I had to hit the brakes because something was crossing the street.
Turns out our sweet Chloe decided to hunt down a deer. A BIG deer with several points on its antlers. And she turned to look at us before continuing to drag this ENTIRE deer across the street.
To say we were shocked was an understatement. But it was so funny to compare her doing that to her temperament which is to be the sweetest dog ever.

Holy shiitake mushrooms....
An entire deer...?!
You had very interesting family members, friend.
(But what did you do with the deer?)
Both our dogs are scared of fireworks and the really loud kind of thunderstorms. Guess it reminds them of gunshots. :T
I would love to have a dog like that sit in my lap though, it's fun. XD

Yes and entire deer. A massive deer.
And yes, I did have very fun and interesting family members. And as for the deer? We never actually saw it. She took it into the trees and we never saw it again...well not all of it anyway. She DID bring the head as a murder present...and that's where I'll leave that.
Both of them are afraid of fireworks? That's sort of adorable and funny. I love it.

I....don't really want to imagine what she did to the rest of it. But at least she didn't take her hunting instincts out on the local domesticated animals. Not to say she would, but it would've been bad....
It is kind of adorable in its own way, except for the fact Xena likes to pace around and "share" a bed or chair with you, mostly trying to do both at the same time. And Princess...well, she suddenly thinks she can fit her rolly-polly body under a bed. XD
Toby just looks like he's been electrocuted for the rest of the night. Teehee.
