I liked the colors you used. They worked well overall... I'm a fan of earthy muted tones.

i like them too. though i think i made the colors too opaque. i colored another drawing like this, it turned out like this [link] and gave off a nice old storybook feel.

There is truth in that statement. I suggest using textures to further enhance the look. I usually use CS5 I don't know how you color. But I usually overlay a nice texture that I found or made. It really helps all the colors to fit together in a more fluid way...it also brings out certain colors and makes the piece more interesting to the eye. I actually have a tutorial in my gallery for coloring pencil or pen line art
