One day, perhaps, but not this day. :/

Hello there! D: I hope that when you read this, you will have arrived safely and that you are okay. Oh and... Welcome! cx

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-27 04:46:15 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! ^_^ I have indeed arrived safely, though I have spent most of my time in rooms with assorted people who want to sell me things. XD Still, everything is going reasonably well, and I am well on my way to becoming overwhelmed with debt like any good American citizen. Wish me luck. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-27 11:53:56 +0000 UTC]

XDD Well, isn't that the american charm of people? Just be sure to leave you fingers from dubious vacuum cleaners...
Pfah! I am certain you can manage your finances well, sir c: And if there are debts, they will be gone in a reasonable time span! o/ All the best, here's hoping everything will go well for you! <3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-28 06:49:02 +0000 UTC]

Actually, I think it's the result of me having to buy a great number of things down here, but there is probably some of that too. I'll remember to stay away from the vacuums. XD
And I am equally certain that my financial management skills are quite meaningless if I cannot find a place to live. It takes a lot of time to look for apartments, and the alternative is living in hotels, which is an expensive last resort.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-28 12:54:14 +0000 UTC]

Oh? XD What did you need that you had the pleasure of meeting so many salespeople?
... well, but i'm sure you will find a good apartment soon. O: Have you found some apartments that you like already?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-28 19:40:57 +0000 UTC]

An apartment... A car... A mobile phone... A bank account... A GPS unit so I don't get lost... That's all for now, though several of them are ongoing projects.
I've only been here for five days. I haven't had the time to look at many apartments yet, and most of the ones in my price range aren't very nice. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-28 19:45:49 +0000 UTC]

... XD... That sounds like an awful lot to get... A car too? Wouldn't it be smart to use the tube for now? Or whichever equivalent.
You will find a nice one! O: I'm sure of there is.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-29 03:42:40 +0000 UTC]

It is a lot to get. .__. I would happily take the tube, or the bus, but the public transit here is simply atrocious. Some parts of the city you could live in without a vehicle, but this area is too hilly for a bike, doesn't have any rail transit, and the buses are practically nonexistent.
My price range is pretty low, madam. I might just have to live with the best of the worst. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-30 00:01:08 +0000 UTC]

... This sounds atrocious just listening to it. >> I would be lost if I lived there. I am scared of using bicycles and can't drive. It would be atrocious.
But there might be a hidden gem in the worst! o: Something really marvellous for the price!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-30 05:19:38 +0000 UTC]

Then we're not all that different - I'm living here, and I am lost. XP Presumably I'll get used to it, though. That or you'll get to see me go insane over the next few months. So you win either way. XD
Aye, there might. But with the advent of Internet apartment ratings, such things are hard to find. The good ones get recognized and bought up quickly.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-30 09:59:54 +0000 UTC]

XDDD Oh really? Then I surely hope that you will lose your feeling of being lost, and that you will get used to it soon. And why would I win if you went insane? XDD After the first initial laughs, the sore realization of losing a wonderful friend and person to talk to would put a shadow over this humoring situation. XD
Don't give up! D: There must be a good one. My sister found one as well that was not rated, and it was a really lovely apartment.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-03 07:31:54 +0000 UTC]

If I ever do, pull me out of here. If this place starts making sense to me, it will have been because I have spent far too long in it. XP Well, you get the entertainment of watching someone go insane, and then you get to talk to a crazy person. It's sometimes interesting to listen to such people - I do once in a while when one of them starts talking to me on the bus. XD
I just realized that I can't rent one for the next few weeks. -__- More hotels and spending all of my money, it seems.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-03 18:07:16 +0000 UTC]

XDDD Oh really? Well, if that is the case... You are more than welcome in Europe, mosaic of countries that are drowning in protests. XD Of course it is entertaining at times to talk to a less sane person, but it would still be unfortunate. XD
... Why can't you? O_o Is this some kind of regulation?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-04 19:56:55 +0000 UTC]

Are they all drowning in protests? I thought it was mostly just Greece. XD Come now, you can't disagree until you've tried it. I'll go crazy, you can check it out for a few months, and we'll see how things go from there. Fair? XP
I need a national identification number in the States, and it will take me about a month to get one. Without one, I can't own a car, rent a house, get a credit card, or even get a phone. -__-

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-04 21:00:46 +0000 UTC]

XD In other countries it's less prominent... But there are. In the UK, in Germany, even in Austria. We just don't make the headlines. XDD And I'd rather not take the risk. XD; Who could pull you back to sanity once it has happened?
... Are you serious? O_o Couldn't they have told you beforehand?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-05 05:49:12 +0000 UTC]

At least you're not rioting, I suppose, like Vancouver. But that made headlines. XP That's another interesting experience you would get to have - trying to bring someone back to the realm of sanity. It's like an adventure. XP
Perhaps. But they didn't. -__- So now it's up to trying to find nice people who will trust me to live in their spare bedrooms. They also have to trust that I won't kill them and take their stuff, though, so a lot of trust is necessary. :/

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-07 12:17:07 +0000 UTC]

XD You mean the post strike? I heard of it from a friend who lives in Vancouver. Oh I wouldn't mind - but the subject in question is not to be tampered with by a person like me. XD I would only deepen the madness, I fear, and that would be unfavorable.
... Well, perhaps one of your colleagues will be that nice? ._. I mean, they can't expect you to pay your hotel rooms for that long, can they... That's just wrong.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-08 03:24:16 +0000 UTC]

No, I mean a riot. Your friend didn't mention the riot? XD Once I go insane, I think you're the one who gets to decide whether or not to tamper. Once I'm insane, you're in charge, and if I'm already crazy, being more crazy isn't something I will mind that much. XP
Except I don't know any of my colleagues - they can't trust me anymore than anyone else not to murder them. And it'll take a couple months to get to know them that well - by that point I will have long since had my ID. We'll see - they're paying me enough that I can afford to live in cheap hotels for another couple months if necessary.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-21 18:09:15 +0000 UTC]

XD I only heard of the Post office strike... What was the riot about? Oh, but I would not dare tampering here. ... Except you really put me in charge, then I would... yes I would try with all I had to make you sane. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-23 04:22:18 +0000 UTC]

Really? It's not a very proud moment, to be sure, but it was certainly a big deal in Vancouver. It even merited a Wikipedia article . It was basically a sports riot, much as one sees in football. A rather unfortunate thing, though. :/ Well, if I'm insane, then I shouldn't be in charge, should I? You wouldn't want crazy people running things. I would have to insist that somebody, anybody, else be in charge if I went mad.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-24 10:07:33 +0000 UTC]

... Oh my god. This... I've never thought that anyone would be that... ahem, 'passionate' about a sports game to incite such massive damage. It's rather a surprise. O_o A big one.
But I don't want to decide something that might turn out harmful x: Well, if you did go insane, I would try to help. Somehow. ._. whether it will be successful or not is another question.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-25 03:52:22 +0000 UTC]

Indeed. Nobody would ever think to do something so shameful in Austria, I'm sure. XP I think it's just people that need an excuse to do something violent, and find that sports are an easy excuse to do so.
So you would then leave it to the insane person? I'm sure the madman can be trusted to make the right choice. XD Trust me, even if you make the wrong call when treating someone crazy, at least you're trying. Better that than leaving them on their own.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-25 17:13:03 +0000 UTC]

... SEE? That doesn't even make it on the news! XD We cover it up. With excellence. I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THAT INCIDENT. Absolute denial.
XDD But, but, if you are the madman, then I still think you're capable of choosing somewhat sensible choices. Of course, if I had to take care of you, I would stop you from doing something obviously insane.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-07-28 04:16:53 +0000 UTC]

Maybe you're simply not paying enough attention to the news? XP Presumably nobody would bother to cover up a large riot in Vancouver.
...So you're leaving crazy people to make rational choices? Riiight. You can always trust the insane ones to make sane decisions. Remind me not to leave you in charge of an asylum anytime soon. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-07-28 14:31:13 +0000 UTC]

XDD Well, I'm simply not paying enough attention to the local news, perhaps. But other than that?
Hm... I can't recall DW-TV [my favorite bilingual news broadcaster] covering it at least. That or it was during my matura preparation time.
XD Pffff, fine. Fine. I would take responsibility of you if you were to go insane and decide if there are things to be decided for you. Happy now? XDD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-08-02 04:42:12 +0000 UTC]

It was after matura, I believe, so perhaps it was simply that nobody cared about it over there. It's not really something that had international consequences.
Happier than knowing that you would simply sit back and watch me make insane choices about my life. XP Every madperson needs some more reasonable advice in their lives, at least.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-08-02 20:25:22 +0000 UTC]

Really? Well, perhaps it happened in the black hole of vacuum that followed after the matura. [There were a few days afterwards where I just... hibernated at home. I think that qualifies as being lazy. XD]
Well, if you are all right with me giving you advice as a poorly experienced person... I am happy to do so!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-08-07 07:24:26 +0000 UTC]

I think it was after that, but it could have been. (A few precious days of laziness. Still not enough to make up for years of hard work, though. XP)
Better a poorly experienced person than a crazy person. Basic reason will provide you with obvious solutions that insanity cannot grasp.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-08-07 23:22:53 +0000 UTC]

XD Well... Then it fell into that hole of emptiness that ensued after my graduation exams. [XDD At least it's a beginning! then again, why don't you show me how to be adequately lazy? c:]
That is true. ... Only that my common sense seems to be lacking at times XD; well, at least i won't get you into trouble, that I assure you.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-08-09 05:44:23 +0000 UTC]

You have multiple holes of emptiness? A step in the right direction, then. XP (I will once you come over here. You will find me asleep. XD)
Still, it's only lacking at times. A madperson's common sense is lacking all the time. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-08-09 21:37:55 +0000 UTC]

XDD Perhaps, perhaps not. That was one single hole until now, so... I wonder if there are more. [Asleep when I'm over? I fairly doubt this. For one I don't believe you to be so ignorant to a visitor, for another I am way too bothersome to be slept over.]
XDDD Okay! Okay, okay, you win over me. Still, I hope it never comes to that, since that would mark a sore loss of a fine mind and the beginning of doom for said mind.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-08-20 23:40:28 +0000 UTC]

We shall just have to see if we can't create more periods of laziness for you, then. (Trust me, I can be quite inconsiderate when I'm asleep, and I can fall asleep at any time. And I have never encountered someone bothersome enough to prevent me from being lazy.)
You think too much of me - it would simply be the change from a mind capable of providing reasonable, if not useful, output to a mind incapable of providing reasonable or useful output. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-09-01 11:10:12 +0000 UTC]

I wonder XDD I don't plan to ahve another one until after my bachelor's degree, so it will take time. [Oh, I know my ways to wake you up. And my obnoxious behaviour will prevent you from being lazy, I am most sure of it. XD]
XDDD But doesn't that mean that this mind has lost some of its essential qualities? That would be quite the loss, not only for said mind, but for all who appreciate the reasonable output.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-09-03 17:25:35 +0000 UTC]

You'd better have one or two before you get that degree, madam. -__- All work and no extended periods of laziness does bad things to a person. (But I in turn am very good at making it so that people cannot wake me up. And nothing - absolutely nothing - in the world has ever prevented me from being lazy. XP)
If you consider sanity to be essential, then yes. I certainly wouldn't mind the change (because I would be insane), and who knows, maybe I would be more interesting that way. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-09-18 08:16:06 +0000 UTC]

Well, but at some point I have to start working, no? And if I don't gather some work experience, it would be quite the loss in the years after. XD [I will tickle you then. Or do something else, given the spirit of the moment. And we shall see about that when I'm around. c| You might have to put your laziness aside for a moment.]
XD More interesting perhaps, yes! But the consequences that ensue from being insane might not be the nicest. Either you will find yourself in an asylum or you will find yourself confined at home with awful problems at fitting into society despite your insanity. XP

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-09-19 03:11:27 +0000 UTC]

At some point, yes. But there are many, many years available after university to work - it would be a tragedy to not take some time and at least try to enjoy the state you're in. (Tickling me is, I'm afraid, not very effective. You'll have to find some alternative. And I set my laziness aside for nobody, madam. A desire to do as little as possible is my constant companion. XP)
Meh. Society is overrated. Millions of people get by without any significant relationship with society at large.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-10-05 08:34:53 +0000 UTC]

XD I am trying, I am trying. But there is already quite the peculiar routine in my life. I don't get much into the city, mostly because it costs two pounds to do so and frankly, I could use the money better than that. ._. [Hm... What about poking, then? cB Constant poking and such.]
XDD Oh come on! The best option would be if you didn't go insane; then one wouldn't have to worry about either thing.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

chinara In reply to ??? [2011-06-24 08:13:45 +0000 UTC]

BEFORE I FORGET again HAVE A SAFE TRIP AND ARRIVE WELL IN YOUR NEW HOME TOWN ;A; I'll miss you and all that! Be careful and I hope you will have a good time at your new job!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-24 18:06:48 +0000 UTC]

Miss me? You'll hardly notice that I'm gone. The only difference will be a slight increase in response time for the next few weeks.

Still, thanks a lot. I'll try not to anger the American border officials.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-24 18:11:17 +0000 UTC]

Of course I'll miss you! x8< And what you describe as a slight increase in response time will be noticed. PFF. Just have a safe trip and use a low profile approach when getting past the border. c:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-25 01:21:19 +0000 UTC]

But the only reason that you miss people is because they are gone, and I am not gone - I am simply connecting to the same section of the Internet from somewhere else, so the difference is really nonexistent from your perspective. And I've already gotten through the nefariously complicated process of immigrating, so they can't stop me from getting through the border.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-25 08:10:18 +0000 UTC]

There difference is apparent since your replies will, I assume, be far stretched x8 as in, taking days and such, which indicates that you're busy and which indicates you're moving. Thus I will notice the difference and miss you ;A; And I hope everything goes smoothly, especially the transport of whatever you're taking with you x:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-27 01:27:14 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, fair enough. Still, the difference will be less noticeable than, say, not coming online until Christmas, which is what the folks in Vancouver will be enjoying. I can, of course, simulate the experience for you if requested. XP Well, I won't be able to ship my effects down here for another month at least, so the next few weeks will see me surviving with just what I managed to stuff into a pair of suitcases.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chinara In reply to Introcrat [2011-06-27 01:31:46 +0000 UTC]

...
I would hunt you down if you did that. seriously. 8C That would break my tiny little heart if you vanished like that.
Well, at least you will get them eventually! And since you're a guy, I have little worries that you can't survive with what you have in a few suitcases. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Introcrat In reply to chinara [2011-06-27 05:50:36 +0000 UTC]

As you wish. Just keep it in mind, it might be a good choice if I get irritating. XP
Since I'm a guy? Are you implying that men have no standards of cleanliness, or that women need more stuff to survive? XD
