I only stopped trusting people after Chloe and Zac left me.
There's no point keeping an "open heart" when I don't have one to give anymore.
And that's the most brilliantly hypocritical thing I've ever heard, coming from you. "Spare your friends needless hurt"? Fucking bullshit, coming from you.
There's a reason me and my friends refer to you guys as "Phobers" and "Fuckheads of the Phobia". If you can't figure THAT out then you officially have less brain cells than Chloe. And she has none. 
So no, I don't believe you're trying to forget the past, because if you were and if you had a dash of sense in you, you'd keep the fuck away from me, I'm tired dealing with you kinds of people. I don't want to remember what's happened, but unfortunately my anxiety means that's all I can remember. I have a girlfriend now. I have best friends. I have my own group, on Skype nonetheless, where we talk, and we don't have to worry about being gay and being kicked out, or being betrayed, or having to keep our fucking mouths shut.

If I was a "phober", I wouldn't be trying to reconcile with you. But I am. What I did to you was wrong, and I openly admit that. I am so sorry for what I did. I have anxiety too. I think about what happened every single day, and I hate myself for it. None of us will likely ever be able to forget. If we could forgive, that pain would be easier to deal with. But I suppose you will never forgive me, no matter how hard sincerely I apologize. I can't say I blame you. I haven't forgiven myself.
