Nah, conversions are masks that I've heavily modified before painting, like this or this .

Most of them I get either from bricklink or vendors at the VA brickfair. Some of the more specialized ones customers mail to me to paint.

Yeah, the main issue is the cost. I can get regular masks for pretty cheap on bricklink, but if I wanted to do a bunch of these I would have to charge a lot more since sales are how I pay for the masks. Maybe one or two for personal projects.

Most of the masks keep the paint on fairly well, and all the masks you see here (with maybe the exception of the metru ones) can keep their paint on as long as you don't throw them into a lego bin.
