Hi! There will be more, next comic has been in the inking stage for a long time, I just can't say when it'll be done, there's so much to do and I'm pretty slow! Lots of the story already planned out though

Ahem. Hello!

Just confirming I'm still alive!

Nothing to show for it, though. Well, I do, but not comics or MLP. I've got like... (brief head count...) more than two dozen active projects on the go, artwork and comics and otherwise, including the stuff I usually post here! I mean I guess I could put some of the other stuff up here, it's not like I necessarily have to post particular themes is it! What I would really like is to have the next Websurfers ready but they just take forever to do, haha.

I do, on occasion! Actually I love writing as well! I'm probably not particularly good at it haha, but you can paint a picture way faster and in some ways with more detail than is possible with drawn artwork.

Wouldn't worry about starting "late" if you wanted to. It's not like I started with artwork when I was really young, I messed around with it occasionally, but that was all. Only the last few years I became more interested! The stuff I do is very much learned through experimentation, I see no reason why others couldn't do the same if they were so inclined  I'm also still fairly diabolical with a pencil imho, as all my stuff starts as a rough hand-drawn digital sketch, although have been improving with time I think.

Vector art is great because even if you're not satisfied with what you're creating, it's very easy to change and improve it. ALL my stuff starts out crappy at first, I do a first pass and then think "wtf is this?" and by that time enough of the image has progressed that I realise what needs to change. Then it sort of goes through this progressive revision process with the colours and shapes and positioning, etc until it looks better. That sort of stuff is easy to do when the art assets are treated as physical, modifiable objects (vector art). The best part is you don't need any specialist tools to get started - it can be done with a mouse or trackpad, and I still use those often.

Lots of ideas! Actually too many ideas to effectively do. I've been considering doing written fiction as well as the comic, because it's faster, and because there's so much I want to do with this, but I'm conflicted, because that would spoil the comic (and also, I'd have to cut a LOT for the comic to finish in any reasonable amount of time).

Nice idea!! I already have characters for VLC, iTunes and Winamp and had been putting ideas together for others. But Websurfers will probably go on for "too long" already so not sure when I would get the time!!

I love the websurfers series and it's art so the more the merrier  . As I said before there are a lot of media players out there. VLC, iTunes, and WMP are the most widely known.(I would include winamp in that list too, but, you know.....it's dead)But there others too. For example, I use AIMP and it's even better then winamp. It even has a full blown dsp manager built-in. But anyway, I can imagine their personalities already!
VLC will be kind of timid but kind. Winamp(if it ever goes back online) will have a personality similar to firefox. iTunes, well, I have a personal distaste towards iTunes so take what I say about her personality with a grain of salt. I expect iTunes to be cocky, cockier than chrome, and always bragging about how a lot of people prefer her even though she's inferior to the others. WMP would be a good idea for the fourth one. I imagine her to be a multitasker, with abilities like burning CD directly from the player and auto syncing with all of your portable MP3-MP4 players.
Anyway, I digress. Keep up the good work and art take your time. with things
