I switched over from Suna-Ryuu last night. This one's my new username. I kept the old account to keep my history, but this is the one I'm using day-to-day now

It sums up what I felt that I had become deep in my soul after two semesters of calculus

ROFLLL
Sums up what I felt after any math class at ALL!
Or at least, the place I wanted to visit after Discrete Math... :C

Ooh, err, that doesn't look like fun :C At least they spelled things out for us... sorta.

That professor passed me out of sheer kindness.
I had a lot of difficulty, too, because they kept giving us professors who we couldn't understand.
Long story short: Discrete Math 2 is why I am not a computer scientist today. Although in retrospect, I should have tried to continue in the program. At least then I would have had a job waiting for me

I'm not sure... :/ there are so many computer science majors that I know... they're going to flood the market pretty soon, I think...
I've met one other environmental science major, and unfortunately, we didn't get along too well. Well, we did, but I secretly couldn't stand her >:C

LOL Just like me and Creepy Chick. *shudder* She's nice, but so... SO CREEPY.
What kinds of jobs are there for environmental science majors?

The worst part is... she was my roommate for half a semester... urrrgh...
Hmm, lessee... you can work as a "go green" kind of consultant for big companies, enforce environmental safety codes for the government, work at a national park for awhile, do research for a private company, teach... pretty much what you can do with most science majors. You can do more with grad school, so I'm thinking I'm going that route and focusing in marine ecology, and then trying to get a job someplace doing field research.

AGHHHHH I AM SO SORRY.
I am so jealous of you. You're doing something I should have focused on. I always liked fish and aquatic biology, but I never thought about translating that into a job until it was too late.

It was bad, but then I got out of there, and I found a bunch of really cool people and it was so much fun!
I'm still not 100% sure... I might look for a job in the mountains somewhere... I think it'll definitely be ecology, though.

That's flippin' awesome! When I was in the dorms I did that, too... started out with this semi-awkward roommate, then roomed with some really cool girls the following semester.
That's still really awesome. Go you. <3

Yeah! We all moved to different places this semester, but I'm rooming with a high school friend who it's impossible to not get along with, so things are still OK. I was having doubts until this whole oil spill happened. As terrible as it is, it probably means job security for me.

...and that's awesome? D: Well, good to find SOMETHING good in that whole mess, I suppose!
