uhh i'm in my first year of college, going to a community for now to get my gen eds finished before i transfer. so far it's all good but oh lawdy german kicked my ass last semester.
so tell me some awesome stories, kiddo

Oh, I have plenty. I suppose the story I have before I left home for my first year would be appropriate. You see, I play PC games all the time, so I spend a lot of time on my PC. Well, my desk back home is a glass desktop. SO, I had a glass of soda on it and I drank it normally until my cat came into my room and desired attention, so I wing around in my computer chair and knock the glass. It goes spinning on the glass top and then before I know it, the entire glass desktop is shattered and I have a CRT monitor and keyboard on my lap. After my family helped me clean up a majority of the shards after I stepped out of my stupor, I decided to rinse off since I had soda sugar all over my clothes. While in the shower, not really liking my situation, I bent down too fast and forgot about the porcelain soap handler on the wall which the corner gashed into the sensitive skin to the left of my left eye. I hurt for a second, clutching my head, only to find some blood on my hands. Stepped out of the shower and looked in the mirror just in time to witness a blood trail trickle down my cheek. I was amazingly calm and called for my mother, not really sure of what else to do. I figured I probably needed stitches, so I told my father to take me to the nearby urgency care clinic. I proceeded to vomit into the toilet as a body response to the shock and loss of temporary blood. Then we went off. It stopped bleeding, but there was an inch cut that needed to be stitched. So I'm normally squeamish in doctor's offices, and especially for needles, even more so for drawing blood, however I received a simple anesthetic injection near the cut and the doctor calmly stitched it up. Didn't feel a thing, besides the anesthetic injection, much to my appreciation. So I spent the following week caring for some stitches which my mother removed at home after that week while I proceeded to have my monitor between my legs, my keyboard on my stomach, my mouse and my speakers all in front of me on my water bed back home. Let me tell you, if computer games in bed wasn't very straining on keeping a single position the whole time, it would be a very attractive set up. The desk company sent us another glass top for free and advised us to use a coaster. We did so and I still have it at home to date. A small scar is where the stitches are now, but yeah, that made my summer and gave me a decent story to tell older college people. Now I can claim I've had stitches before, but I've not yet broken a bone, which I never hope I ever do. Hope that was an enjoyable listen.
