You know I'm glad I'm not the only 20-something who thinks that? I like the Avatar series especially because they can squeez in well placed humor and a worth-while plot. But it's been awhile since they've released new episodes and I have this feeling it's on its way out because the kids couldn't stay focused. I'd be glad to be wrong, though.
I'll admit, I did enjoy the more complex issues faced in the JSU series and wish they would have shown it at a later time on Adult Swim but then again they did place it in a later slot and that didn't seem to help it - but on the other hand they didn't exactly announce the move and I missed out on a lot of the new episodes. I'm just not that attentive when it comes to TV and any change in it. It really sucks when you get into a series and then when that 'something big' never comes and closure is never delivered like for a lot of our old 80's shows.
I know what you mean about the new TMNT cartoons - did you check out the new Batman adventures too? *Sigh* It just wasn't the same - although I liked Batman Beyond but agian it was geared towards older audiences.

Really? Only three seasons? Well I suppose it was a smart move on their part - they probably understood the lack of attention spans of the audience and wanted to be sure to finish their story before they got canned. Just goes to show you, you never know when you will or won't have a hit! But you know, although we have a democratic government we have a communist economy so people in the entertainment business are just probably looking for the next big thing in hopes that they turn a BIG profit. Ah well, I suppose we can complain all we want, doesn't mean it's going to change. -_-;
