Hello, I took a look at them both and wow! It's not common to see such calligraphies on the web - they are (almost?) perfect.
For the moment I just looked at the images, I didn't take the time to read in more details, I am quite busy (I'm leaving France to settle in Oxford).

The Zanerian site is dedicated to the masters of the 19th century, from the school started by C P Zaner, but the IAMPETH site is all modern calligraphers, some of which i've met. There's also the Yahoo Ornamental Penmanship group [link] also started by Joe Vitolo, who made the zanerian site. They are a busy group, so if you join, i suggest the digest format. Many of the people on there are very knowledgable and helpful with any questions about mediums, nibs or anything. I'm on there as eniad_writ, but i hardly ever post.

Hey guys I was planning on buying a dip pen set and I am planning for a Speedball set but I am not sure which ones would be appropriate for the kind of calligraphy I want to do which is basically mostly gothic, textura quadrata etc.... I also want start trying to do some work in Fraktur..any suggestions ??

I bought the whole collection of Speedballs a few weeks ago, and they are perfect for gothic scripts, no problem really.
You can also buy some Brause nibs, they are less expensive and they're the best in their category, I think I prefer them. They are more traditionnal, and easier to clean. And they are of a very good quality, sincerely.
As you like it, both are good nibs in fact.
Maybe you should try them first if you can, and buy them after.
Or just buy them both! I have the 2 complete collections and I'm very happy with them

As for your request, we're more specialized in traditional art than in font making...

You might find what you need, if there's a font quite close to the one you need, send a note to the artist, he/she might be able to do something for you.

I was looking for some ideas for a band writing and found this community, great! Maybe someone could help me to find an idea or an link with various fonts for "Perversus". "Perversus" plays Progressive Death-Blackmetal music. I don´t want cliche blach-deathmetal font so i´am search a individual idea for "Perversus". So please maybe someone could inspire me. I don´t want to steal an idea, i need just an inspiretion.

Well, I think you should check our calligraphers (take a look at the gallery and choose your favourite style/artists). Then send them a note, I think it's the best way to get what you need!
