True. That probably wasn't the only reason, but true. She can have the design/use the info for whatever she wants though. The 'recolorer' gets to use the un-recolored version like it was theirs; no credit needed for who made the design edit. It seems people don't quite get that ._.

Hell, she could edit the design/info of my version of Glinda and make it one of Glinda's relitives... or something. It's hers though; but artists (namely the one who un-recolors it) can use it because it was originally stolen art...

What YOU don't quite get is that the only thing my friend gives a damn about is you taking it down. I'll bet if you drew her again, she wouldn't notice, you just have to take down the origonal. Because:
A) Base was a recolor, so the base is stolen art, so you recolored a recolor
B) Glinda wasn't someone that she made herself, Glinda was a GIFT, and if someone redesigned a gift someone gave me I'd feel like they were trying to re-design my friendship, i'm sure she feels the same
C) Really, redesigning and unorigonal recolor is unorigonal: They're always going to be a {color} {charrie} because the base was {charrie}
