While in artschool I was so broke I just bought sharpwriter mechanical pencils in place of the full set of art pencils to complete 90% of projects. Got the nickname that way.

I like the whole Idea of depicting modern heads of state in a similar fashion as it was done by Painters during and before the renaissance.
