As to your question: partly to support deviant art and it's artists as I think both are brilliant, and partly because at some point i would like to upload some of my photos and art,I just never think they are good enough and it would almost be insulting to put some of my work up next to the art i have seen here, almost like putting the work of a enthusiastic 12 year old next to a Rembrandt

ha! I know exactly what you mean. When I first started out my work looked like that of a 12 year-old. Believe it or not though, many deviants appreciate the artist more when they put up their work and PROGRESS. if you took a look at some of my earlier works and compare them to my work today, they look horrid. For some reason though, they(deviants) like it! It's almost like watching you grow up.... also, you can never base someone's age by their photography. You must not be aware of how anxious other deviants are to see your art work!
