how did you come up with your icon?
i'm inquiring because i read a fanfic-drabble-thing once (spirk, of course), and in it, spock played some kick-ass guitar hero. i come up somewhere on dA on a pic, look at the comments, and see your icon.
that fanfic was the FIRST DAMN THING that ran through my mind!
i was just wondering if you'd read it as well and that was how you came up with it.

Haha, I know exactly which fanfic you're talking about because, yes, I've read it too. I wish I could say that that's what inspired my icon. Alas, it is not so. I based my icon off of a base, the link for which is found in my journal. Originally, it was going to be Kirk playing the guitar (I actually have the beginnings of an icon using Kirk), but I decided Spock would be way awesomer. I did think about the guitar hero fic when I was making it though.

Howdiddly! When #Spirk first started, they asked if someone could help with donating a subscription - this was before I knew subscriptions for groups worked differently - so I tried using the holiday 'buy one get one free' deal to gift the group since I needed another 3 months myself anyway. Obviously it didn't work, and I just got a message from devart helpdesk asking who I wanted to gift the 3 months to instead, so since you are part of #Spirk and now #Star-Trekking and I was going to give you a month for doing the December crew challenge anyway... I transferred it to you.
THAT WAS A LONG STORY TO TELL YOU WHY YOU NOW HAVE A 3 MONTHS SUBSCRIPTION LOL

Haha yeah it's a bit of a problem for me. Not so much food and sleep as it is homework I'm supposed to be doing. I definitely have Philosophy homework due tomorrow that's not getting done right now. But winter break is nearly here, thank goodness.

I am planning on hibernating for the winter, I'm just not in the mood to find a new job. If my final pay from my current job is enough, I also have plush commissions to work on that will bring in a meagre income so I won't starve, haha. I am also supposed to be studying but I've come to a bit of a halt... damn distractions

I'm definitely taking a break this winter. I'm in my first year of college and I'm taking an insane load of classes, both this semester and next. I'm ready for a breather. I'm planning on doing all of the useless, unproductive things that I couldn't do during the semester because of homework, like video games, rewatching "A Very Potter Musical", some Spirk stuff I've been meaning to catch up on, etc.
