I know. Just thought of that as a cool idea. Personally I have the urge to write my own alternate universe MK story just reading all that.
Reading up on your story and I noticed that you did the whole Scorpion (Hanzo) coming back to life thing before MKX did it. Though in this case I imagine it to be much different given he was resurrected along with his wife.

Though in all seriousness I like the way MKU3 Kang is VS MKX Kang because we all know Liu is going to go good either in MK11 or MK12. That's why I feel like him and Kitana being villains doesn't feel right. We know they're just possessed and will most likely go back to being the goody goody heroes again sometime later. I would much rather have them as minor villains in the next game.
With MKU3 Liu he's fully aware of the actions he commits and lets that power corrupt him to the person he became in Parallel. He commits horrible atrocities believing himself to be "good" when he's probably worse than Kahn/Onaga himself. There's most likely no going back for him in the story given he killed all his allies most likely. That, IMO is the direction they need to take with Liu if they were to write him as an actual "evil" villain and not a "possessed good guy" as in the case of MKX Liu.

I dont mind the canon liu being evil for a brief minute(and he's not really even evil). But he needs to turn back good(im sure he will), but not all heroic goody good.

Yeah that's the thing. We know both him and Kit aren't actually evil and that they're going to go right back to being good guys whenever their plot point is up. It's like what's the point in doing all that shit? Y'know? I feel like it's a rather weak plot point in the story. Either way they shouldn't be the main villains. It would be much better if Onaga or a new villain was the big bad of MK11. I don't even think they should be the new Deadly Alliance in this timeline. Shang needs to hook up with Quan again (no homo lol) and they need to start wrecking shit up again in this timeline. Liu and Kitana being a Deadly Alliance is laughable at best.
Personally I see Liu going back to the way he was in MK9. Mostly goody good though untrusting of Raiden and wanting to take his place as protector of Earthrealm.

And yes. I know what you mean. I wrote a fic where I sorta stopped writing it and every now and then I get the itch to continue writing and whatnot. It's nice to revisit stories that you write after a long time.
Indeed. The lore of MKU2 is very fascinating and TBH I like MKU2 more so than I do MKU1. At least the protags in that story had the common sense to kill their enemies dead instead of letting them go all the time. That's why MKU1 had to deal with Armageddon and that turned out horribly for that universe lol. I also like the idea of the whole cast working as a cohesive unit in the OIA, tracking down the bad guys and all that stuff.

For example, the user made a pic of my decapitated head being held like a trophy, all because I said that Corbett-Collins's pic (which makes fun of the whole Columbine High School massacre) was unnecessary. Seriously, that was real mature of him. Not only that, but he stole some of my photos and used them for his own evil misdeeds.

Hey, man. I have a question. Who's your least favorite Mortal Kombat character. Mine is Hsu Hao. An absolute disgusting mistake that should have stayed on paper as part of someone's horrible fanfic, and never made it into an MK game.
The only reason I didn't mention Mokap is because, while I hate him as well, I just like to bitterly deny he ever existed. He looks like a poor man's Mega Man, more specifically, the Bad Box Art version seen on the NES box art of the original game released in America.

Character wise
or Play style wise.
Character wise, I think everyone has a purpose. I dont care for Hsu Hao either and he will most likely never be my fav character, but he has a role of minion and he does that role. Same with Kobra or kira, or Shujinko. So in that sense, I cant HATE any character. Unless they do something in the story that prevents the heroes from going forward...but that what villains are suppose to do.
Play style wise, My Mains have always been Scorpion, and Liu Kang.
But it just depends on the char playstyle. if they have a playstyle I dont like, I wont choose them. I did not like Mileena's playstyle in MK9, but I love her in MKX.

Well, on the other hand, Mokap is the only character who had no sort of storyline. He was just a joke character. I just pray to God that the new timeline completely ignores Mokap's existence, because he was never canon to begin with. Though, assuming he does make a cameo in a future game (which I doubt), I would picture him getting killed by a random character, thinking he was Johnny Cage.
Also, regarding Shujinko, I don't hate him, it's just that he's not an original character. He would be great if they moved past the whole "I can copy the abilities of other warriors" gimmick. He's basically the Taskmaster of Mortal Kombat, for that reason.

Shujinko is what he is. We have our 'old master' character with him...besides bo rai cho, who should have been a more serious char as the rainer of Liu Kang.

I love Bo' Rai Cho and all, but I wish they would make him more serious gameplay-wise. I just wish that they would ditch the vomiting, farting, and burping. That seriously does not belong in MK. It's fine for adult cartoons like Family Guy and South Park, but for Mortal Kombat, no. Just no.

You just have to realize that we are all opinionated people and DA has a comment section to share those opinions. Our opinions will often contest, and because we disagree and may be detailed about it does not mean we cant have a civil disagreement/argument and stay cool.

I commented on his hate rant about Liu Kang and Kitana and said the reasons he hated them were unwarranted. (he hates Kitana because she uses Jade's weapon in her mournful variation.....lol)
