I have one more question, so have you seen Death Note or Black Rock Shooter Ova.
In Death note, when Misa first reads Light Yagami's name above his head (cuz she has death god eyes) she reads it as "Tsuki Yagami"
and says afterwards that Light's name isn't a standard name or something so doesn't now how to pronounce it. Doesn't Light and Tsuki sound really different from each other?

And to answer your question:
Light's (Raito's) first name is spelled using the kanji for "moon" (月), which is pronounced "tsuki." Since "moon" and "month" (pronounced "getsu/gatsu") are the more common meanings, so it's understandable that she was confused.

All kanji have many different pronunciations. I've no idea why that is, though.
