It was, intense, fun and very tiring. In the second part of my trip I slept mostly on trains.
Will you plan every detail of your journey or just get on the plane and see when you get there?
It was my pleasure to look through your gallery and add some of your works to my favourites. You're doing a good job, I like it Keep it up!
Take care!

we have a planned agenda. Beau has been an International Photographer for years so he will be the tour guide. He has been everywhere, and I have been no where... It will be a blast!

Does he have a dA account?
Wow, your trip sounds great! You'll have the best guide ever! I didn't have a guide, I didn't even know where I was going. It was very spontaneous and fun, but if you're going for a longer trip, it's better to plan it ahead. I'm sure you'll have a very good time in Europe, it's beautiful. Are you planning to come to Romania?

Planning an Australian exit to the USA in August. Flights have really gone up in price due to oil hikes and basic global economy decline. Have been fortunate to have Beau's most excellent travel expertise to guide us through the murky waters of internet booking. We finally came to the conclusion it was a better deal to buy Round the World passes.I have to remember Beau is a seasoned traveler, not the same for me. I get excited when we shop and have drinks in the various airport terminals from Oz to North Carolina. Of course I am the same person that collects photo's of rusted out old bikes being swept into the ocean, and animal bones left to bake in the intense heat of the Australian Outback. As you see, I am easily entertained.
On our way back stateside we are fortunate to get to meet some DA'ers along the way. We will land in New York 8/5 and catch a show and enjoy the city for a night or two, then off to meet
for a view of Jersey. At some point will see our good friends
: and
Hopefully many others along the way.
My youngest son will be launching his college career in August so I so want to be there to see him off and maybe visit his new stomping grounds in Asheville, NC. He will be a freshman at UNC-A... So proud of him.
Before packing up to leave Oz we have lots to do in the way of packing, selling property, renting property, transferring mail and placing my sweet little Beta... Shushi. Stay tune as the list of to do's grows.
For any of you out in DA cyber world that would like to meet up for a coffee and perhaps a shoot we will be in North Carolina until 2/09 then on with the RTW trip with visits to Zurich, Copenhagen, Bangkok then Sydney and finally home to Port Maquarie.
Smiles across the miles!!!!! ~G~
Tah Dah!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a beautiful journal entry! I like the way you tell your stories. I'll have to take a look through your journal as soon as I'll start catching up with deviations, replies and everything. University started 2 weeks ago, but I didn't have a computer. My room mate brought her laptop, so now I'll be around more often.
I added some of Beau's photos to my favourites. He has some really nice works. Thank you for the link.

I totally agree!
I'm taking a course called.. well we call it the science of theater (teatrologie in Romanian), but I don't know if that exists in Australia or not. The education system here is similar to the French one, we even took the word "theatrologie" from them. After I finish uni I'll be a specialist in theater Not an actrice or a director though. It's a very open course, you can do lots of things after finishing it, you can be a dramaturg, a playwright, a cultural manager, a theater critic and so on..
