Well comments of praise are great sometimes, but being praised wouldn't help me to make my art better so I prefer critique comments because I need critiques to improve. I like it when people tell me the truth !

Not to mention when someone tells you what you need to work on, you can do some tutorials to bone up your intelligence and skills on it.

Hmm I think I do both of them ! I try to learn on my own but I watch some tutorials too. But I think I really should watch more tutorials ! Actually, I watch a lot of speed drawing videos on youtube, sometimes I learn from it, but most of the time I just watch and try to remember some of the techniques (even if they aren't using the same program as me, it can be helpful sometimes
But I reallyyyy should do more tutorials instead of just sit and watch videos of pros drawing

I try on my own and when I hit a snag, I listen to the teachings of tutorials or the opinions of artists better than me. I've been meaning to do a small tutorial on something, but I never know what yet. D:

What I love about you art is that you have your own style, I've always likes artists who are their own style, it's so amazing because you can see their hard working from it !

I think your art has its own style too! ^-^ Most people like my messy sketch style though because they can see how I set the picture up from the leftover scribbles. It's almost like a self-explanatory picture..?

Which is why I like to leave my work sketchy. xD So I can remember how I did it! I should seriously get into redlining work for folks. It could help them better with how I critique their work.

Funny thing is I used to draw a loottt of gryphons like this one, and its name is Esoteric -- a basic rendition of myself in gryphon form. I was impressed with SelendrileDragoon's chosen color scheme. It really looks like me to a degree. xD

Ironically, 'esoteric' literally means 'difficult to understand' or it also translates to 'secret or highly confidential'. Which is exactly what my personality is like. Very few can appreciate or understand me until they try talking to me.

For one thing what Esoteric means xD, your company's just as important as others (badly phrased), and colors can make something not you look like you
