You know... I try not to judge anyone by their age... cuz age doesn't have a whole lot to do with anything more than who pays taxes and who doesn't! I mean -- look at my friends here on DA... I'm 6 to 8 years older than most of 'em! I don't treat 'em like kids though -- I treat 'em like equals -- cuz no human being is worth less than another. (Unless you're the Olsen Twins -- then you're worth about $71 million more than everyone else!) j/k You don't have to tell if you don't want to... it just makes you more alluring! I tried the same bit, but with my name, when I first got to DA -- and it got old real quick... so much for nick-names! So I'll see ya 'round as well!

Yeah, I always thought that 40k looked better cool, but I could never find anybody eles that was into it or anything so I never did get involed. Halo was just easy because who did not get into that.

Ask around to people you know play and see if you can borrow their Codex(es). The Codex tells all about whatever army it's written on -- i.e. I have the Space Marines Codex, which tells allll about Space Marines, the point cost, special unit features, everything... I've also got about 6 more on different armies, just so I could use that army if I wanted to, or, if I were to fight that army, I'd know what I'd be going up against. So basically, check out the Codexes, and if you can't do that, just look at [link] and check out the online store for the US -- if anything, you can just browse through different things and pick something you like to look at for starters! I would personally recommend one of the Space Marine chapters that has its own Codex -- the Dark Angels, Blood Angels or Space Wolves -- cuz playing as normal Space Marines is kinda bunk, I think... I play Space Wolves, but I'm probably going to be starting a second army... probably Necrons... But yeah, uh... that's it! Whatever questions you have, I'll be happy to answer them for you! I can actually tell you a lot about the WH40K universe, so all you gotta do is ask! Cheers, mate! (as they say in J.O.E.)

Hey man, this is a reply to that coment on the oh canada piece with the weird terragen shapes(i know, took me a while)... yeah I've been trying to find that damn tutorial for you... nate10588 wrote it, but it looks a little different then what i did, kinda messed around with it a bit. Basically, I stretched out my terrain by 1000% and lowered my camera "above height" by like -800. different terrains, different camera heights and colors will all give u crazy effects

What really impressed me about that deviation (notwithstanding the fact that I have no taste or experience in this genre at all) was its striking resemblance to a photo of an actual landscape. Or, I guess I could just say it r0xx0rz my b0j0xx0rz.
