Well, the pencil did scrape across the sketch book a few times today, for the first time in ages. Hopefully should get the results scanned in soon.

I used to draw something every night, but recently I've had a lot more important things that have needed me, so not got round to doing anything for a long time.

most of them are cheap goth!novelty toys.
if you really want quality, you have to go for the higher priced supplies for medical students. but those are outrageously expensive. i was lucky to get yorick for ~20 euros, because of one lost / two two glued in teeth and his removeable parts not really fitting into each other any more. normally he would have cost about 100 euros.
it's a good idea to visit ebay every now and then, maybe you'll find your own skeletonized muse by chance.

I banned myself from eBay until I get a better paid job. Or start selling paintings. Or my art.

i can understand that (worked my arse off, yet still lived on welfare level until 2007). if you want to sell original artwork, maybe linoprint is a way to go. you can easily transfer your sketches onto the plate using carbon paper and do some great experimental stuff to enhance the final outcome. it's also fast.
a good way to get your artwork out locally is asking for an exhibition in a medical practice (dentist, physiotherapist etc.). they won't pay you any money, but people might ask to buy your work. i understand some of your work might not be suitable for "relaxing", fear-reducing purposes, so music shops or certain bars are be worth a shot, too.
