"Mind telling me your name first.. I need to know if we can trust you before saying anything." Sawyer says with a polite, yet guarded tone in his voice, and a concerned expression.
"He wanted us to get away from the bomb, looking like he was genuinely concerned for our safety. I think we can trust him.." The girl tells the boy.
"I just want to make sure. I don't want to end up having a fight on our hands, and for people to get hurt." Sawyer responds, stepping in front of his friends to protect them.

"Arael." Arael responds. It's not a name you'd usually hear in France, or just about anywhere. He did debate using his fake name, but he figured if these kids were helping get rid of bombs, it was easiest to cut straight to the chase. "And likewise. My friends and I are here to do just that - and I believe there are still more bombs around the city, so I'm afraid we don't have the time for antagonistic standoffs."
He studies the group. He can't shake the feeling he's having, but it's best not to outright ask if someone isn't human. That can get uncomfortable fast. Although he doesn't wish to stand around, if these kids could be potential allies, it can be only a good thing and worth investigating.

Sawyer raises an eye brow at him, looking at him as if he's studying him himself. This Arael person doesn't seem human to him. However, he can get to the bottom of this later. Right now, with how much of a genuine tone he hears, and the fact that his friend has told him that he was concerned about their safety before he and Joey came, he takes a deep breath as he relaxes. He knows his wolf ears and tail are not hidden, but he doesn't care about that. Now is not the time to worry about that.
"Greetings, Arael. Still not sure if we can fully trust you, but for now, I would say that the best way for either of us to start trusting each other is by getting rid of these bombs. I am Sawyer. These are my friends, Joey and Celeste."
The two other kids wave.
"We already took care of one other bomb, so that is -"
Sawyer blinks as the walkie talkie on his belt gets a message, one that makes his heart grow weak.
"Sawyer, we have a problem! Another bomb is INSIDE the school!"
"What?!"

Arael nods as he introduces himself. He glances at the wolf ears and tail, wondering exactly what kind of creature he is. He feels like a demon, but he the wolf features make him wonder if he's a werewolf. He gives a small wave to Joey and Celeste with a small smile. However, the smile vanishes immediately when he hears the message coming from Sawyer's belt.
"Did I just hear that correctly? Inside the school?! Good heavens!" He's about to go rushing towards the building when Yori's voice comes through his earpiece again.
"Arael, Cian, Ryouji! Roukan's had a breakthrough. There seems to be a system of bombs scattered throughout the city, ones that aren't your old school timer ones. These ones are all connected through a network, which allows the people who set them to detonate them via their laptop, regardless of how far away they are. Potentially, these ones could all be detonated at once..."
"WHAT?!" Arael's heart sunk even further. He knew the kids weren't able to hear Yori, but for the moment, he needed more info. "Can Roukan turn them off remotely or something?"
"He's working on it. However, he was able to get the locations of all these types of bombs. I'll send a map to your phones, so disable as many as you can while Roukan's at work. And of course, any that are on timer..."
"Got it." Arael said. "Do that."
He looked back at the kids. He didn't like to be abrupt, but time was ticking. "Lets hurry inside the school. My colleague just managed to find the locations of s system of bombs that can be detonated simultaneously from far away. He's working on getting into the system, but we should still hurry."
He started hurrying into the school building.

"Simultaneously!?" Celeste says with a worried voice.
"Crap! This is worse then we thought!" Sawyer quickly gets his walkie talkie out as he hurries inside the school. "Guys, we just met someone who may be a potential friend. We'll be working along side him to get these bombs out of the way. His colleague is also helping out. However, you need to be extremely careful! These bombs could be detonated at once. Keep as many people as you can away from them, and make sure you get back home in one piece.
"Where would this bomb be? This school is huge!" Joey says. "Maybe I can use the plants to our advantage.."
Joey holds out his hand, and suddenly, all the plants in the school begin to point towards a north direction. "So the bomb is in the north part of the building.."

"North?" Arael turned and started heading in that direction. 'Damn, flying would be so much faster, but I can't in front of these kids... can I? That boy just did something with the plants...' He thought to himself. He wondered if he had some sort of nature magic, like Ryouji's wife Melaina did. He made a note to bring it up later.
A small ping on his phone caught his attention. He knew that would be Roukan's email coming through in record time. Damn, that man really was a computer genius. "I've got a map of the location for the rest of the remote bombs! But my associate also said that there are also still timer bombs out there, which he hasn't been able to pick up on this system yet. I've also got two other colleagues who are out disabling other bombs too."

"Good. Hopefully, with how many of us are out there, things will be okay. No more tragedies.." Joey says "Sadly, the north area is a large part of the building, so we need to keep our eyes wide open. Look through everything. If you see something suspicious, let us know.

"No. Enough people have died." Arael said sadly. A thought occured to him and he stopped, hurrying to window, calling to someone. In through the window, flew about a dozen birds of varying kinds, that then zoomed down the hallways and spread out through the building, flying around in search.
"The birds should be able to cover a much wider area than we can on our own." He told the kids. "Seeing as the area is so large."
Now that the birds were on the hunt, he stopped to think. Where would the best place to set the bomb off be? Where would cause the most destruction and casualties? A classroom? But if they intended to do it at lunchtime, the cafeteria might be more likely. Was there a cafeteria in the north part of the building? He wished Cian and Ryouji were here. They were much better at the whole bomb situation than he was.

Celeste blinks as she and the two boys see the birds fly in, which makes Sawyer smile a little.
"Looks like we're not the only ones here who can do some tricks." He chuckles. "Well then, I suggest the three of us split to look for the bomb. Joey, check the classrooms. Celeste, you should go to the cafeteria."
"On it!" Both kids say as they head off to their respective destinations.
"I'll be searching for this bomb with you, Arael, if it's not too much trouble. I've also been wanting to talk to you. You're not human, are you..?" Sawyer asks him. "The more I look at you, the more I get a feeling that you're not human. You seem to have a more angelic air around you."

"Alright." Arael agreed. Splitting up would be the best plan. Along with his birds, they'd be covering a lot more ground. He gestures in the direction they should go and heads off that way. However, Sawyer's question catches him by surprise. Well, it seems he'd been thinking along the same lines as he had.
The angel didn't answer for a good few minutes. "Yes. That's correct, I'm an angel. The angel of birds, to be precise. However it's been a long time since I've been to heaven. I prefer to stay amongst the people here on earth and do good with my colleages." He looked at Sawyer. "And you? You don't feel human to me, either. I was wanting to ask, but it didn't seem the best time to bring it up... and it's not always an easy subject to bring up."

"I don't mind the question. I'm a bit more then just a demon. You see, my father is an angel, while my mother is a demon. Dad left heaven because he directly wanted to help people. Mom is a peaceful woman, and she didn't want to be like many other demons who hurt others. So, while I do have both angel and demon blood, I am technically more so classified as a demon, since I do have a bit more demon blood in me." Sawyer answers.
"Joey and Celeste are also demons, but the three of us want to help others, and protect this world of ours."

"I see.. so you're more or less a demon-angel I suppose." Arael mused. "But more demonic than angelic. I see. I suppose we have a bit in common then. It's nice to meet actual peaceful demons, like you and your friends. I haven't met any more since Yuka's family. Yuka is the wife of one of my colleages, Cian, whom is a demon himself."
He took his phone out of his pocket, opening up Roukan's email. It occured to him that this bomb in the school could have been one of the remote ones, so it would pay to check the may. "Only one of my colleagues is human, in fact. Yori, our leader. I'm part of a company that works to eradicate major crime in Japan. We actually only came to France to deal with this situation by request of... a relative of a relative's relative or something like that. Although things got a lot worse since the time we were called and the time we arri-oh! Look!"
Roukan gestured at a small blip on his map, next to a white dot, which indicated his location. "This is the map my colleague, Roukan sent. That little blip must be the bomb. I presume it's the bomb we're looking for, but it could be another one..."

"Only one way to find out! Let's go!"
It is revealed to be the bomb they're looking for, but it seems that it's about to detonate. "Crap! Joey and Celeste won't be here by the the time that explodes! We - oh no..!"
What he sees down the hallway is a little girl, not knowing that there is a bomb close by. That's going to explode soon, and she's right in its range! Sawyer decides that it's better for him to be in the range of the bomb.
So he quickly sets up a shield in front of Arael and the birds, so they are not harmed. As fast as his legs can let him run, the teen grabs the little girl as the bomb explodes. However, he made a shield over them, so the blast does not kill them.
The explosion has made a big hole in the building and on the ground, with Sawyer and the little girl down below.
She opens her eyes and looks at her savior. "Y-you're bleeding.." She softly speaks
"Better me then you.."

"Shit!" Arael swore, seeing the bomb go off with Sawyer and the little girl right in the line of fire. "Sawyer!!"
"Arael, what's happening?!" Yori's voice was suddenly in his ear.
"We found one of the remote bombs, but it just went off! That means there could be explosions all over the city in a matter of minutes!" Arael replied.
"Shit! Anyone hurt?!"
"One.. maybe two.. how's Roukan going?"
Silence answered him, then after a few minutes, a triumphant voice spoke. "Roukan's gotten into the system! He says it's complicated and babbling about techy stuff, but he's mass disabling them right now. We should be alright. The blips on your map will disappear once Roukan's got them offline. There's still the issue of timer bombs, but Roukan thinks, judging by his emails, there's roughly three left. One at the church, one at the market... and the third, he can't tell."
"Thanks." Arael sighed with relief. "Thank god for Roukan... get Cian and Ryouji to hunt for those bombs. I need to see if Sawyer's going to be okay."
"Sawyer?" Yori asked.
"I'll tell you later." The angel ducked around the shield and hurried over to the fallen kids on the ground. "Are you two alright?! God.. Sawyer, you're bleeding!"

Sawyer chuckles. "Very observant of you, Arael." He says as the shield fades away. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."
"That doesn't look okay to me! Your head is bleeding!!" The little girl says with worry in her voice as the wolf demon boy gets up
"A small price to pay for saving a precious laugh." He smiles. "Now, is that all the bombs here, or is a third nearby?"
(Btw, I hope you won't be disturbed by how descriptive I can be at times. I can describe very dramatic things when I'm really into the moment. Such as torment on test subjects by the evil scientists)

"Well, if you're laughing I suppose it can't be too bad." Arael muttered to himself. "Don't worry little girl, he'll be fine. I'll take care of him."
As Arael was a full grown adult, he hoped his words would soothe the young girl. He looked back at the map on his phone. Just as Roukan said, all the blips were faded. "I suspect that's all the bombs here. My associate managed to get into the system all the remote bombs were linked to and is disabling them all. He did, however say there were still some timer bombs. Three, he belives. One at a church, one at a market and the third... well, he couldn't find any trace of that one. I still have two associates out searching right now."
(Not at all! I've put some of my characters through a whole lot of really traumatic things, so not much would phase me

"We could go to the market. I can't step inside a church."
"You're really going to go back out there..? You got hurt really badly.." The little girl says, worried about Sawyer, but she blinks as he kneels down and pats her head.
"I'm a stubborn boy who isn't going to go down so easily. The worst thing might be that I'll have to stay in bed for a couple of weeks or so, but I can handle what is thrown my way!" Sawyer laughs with a smile
The little girl blinks, amazed with how brave he's being.

"I can go inside the church though. In fact, it's better me than Cian and Ryouji, who also can't." He paused. "Cian's a demon and definitely can't... Ryouji... I honestly don't know if he could step inside a church or not. But I'm an angel, it's better it's me. Perhaps you'd like to meet up with those two at the market? And what about your friends?"
Arael looked at the giant hole in the building. He knew the police and media would be crawling all over the school before long. He didn't want to get caught up in that. "Also, are you able to fly?"

"Sadly, I am not. Neither are Celeste or Joey. However, I am able to run pretty fast, given my wolf features. I could met up with them. Celeste and Joey could join up as well. Although, I do worry about them not understanding why I'd be there." The boy answers him as he gets the little girl outside to safety.

"Don't worry. I'll let them know your coming." Arael says, following him out. He gestures to the earpiece in his ear. "This is a communication device, which allows me to communicate with Yori, Cian and Ryouji. That's how I've been getting the information they've been telling me."
Reaching to touch his earpiece, he talks to his comrade. "Cian, Ryouji, can you hear me? I'm heading to church to deal with the bomb there. You two go to the market. I'm also sending a new friend to meet you, he's been quite helpful. His name is Sawyer, he's a wolf demon. You'll be able to recognise him by his wolf features."
"Gotcha." Cian replied. There was no comment from Ryouji, so Arael presumed he was in his bat form.
"Good. He'll be there soon." Just as he ended his transmission, a thought occured to him. "Since you're a wolf demon... how do you feel about vampires? Are you opposed to them?"

Sawyer gives an amused chuckle. "I think the fact that I am the main leader of a city within a cave where humans, demons, half demons, vampires, and others who do not have homes should answer that question." He gives the anger a kind smile. Sawyer doesn't have any problems with vampires. In fact, he's good friends with the vampires of this cave city. "Let me know when you get the bomb at the church taken cared of!"

"Well, you never know for sure before you ask. Some prejudices can run deep." Arael muttered. "And yes, I'll let Cian know. I've let them know your coming. Cian's pretty tall with long dark blue hair and Ryouji.. is probably a bat right now. But they'll find you amongst the crowd easily enough. No offense, but you do stand out a bit." He chuckled to himself.
Seeing that the coast was now clear, he spread his white angelic wings and too to the sky, heading off towards the designated church.
At the market place, Cian had arrived as quickly as possible, already starting to look for the bomb. The market place was crowded, much to his dismay. He needed people to be evacuating, but he couldn't do that without drawing attention to himself and wasting time.
"Cian."
Hearing his name, Cian turned and his face broke into a grin. "Yori! You're out here? What are you doing?"
"Evacuating." Yori, holding up a fae ID identifying him as a security guard for the market. "I'll get as many people out of here as possible, you do your thing. Where's Ryouji?"
"Flying around somewhere. He'll be back soon."
"Right." Yori nodded and then turned to the crowd, well aware that he was potentially about to start a mass panic. "EVERYONE! We've received word that there is a bomb somewhere in this market! The bomb squad is fully preoccupied now but will be on their way soon. In the meantime, I need everyone to evacuate via the west exit! Come on, quickly and orderly, don't panic!"
The effect was instantaneous. Despite Yori telling everyone not to panic, everyone did. People were evacuating as quickly as possible, but they were rushing and pushing their way through. People were getting hurt in the chaos, but Yori was keeping an eagle eye to make sure there was nothing serious or no one got trampled.
With the people leaving in a massive haste, Cian was then free to search the market for the bomb without worrying about bystanders. He also had to keep an eye out for the kid that Arael mentioned. Ryoujibat came flying back and landed on his shoulder.
"Couldn't see a damned thing among all the people." He grumbled. "Yori needed to be doing this evacuation like five minutes ago.

Sawyer lets out a laugh as he hears that he'll stick out among the crowd and smiles to himself. "None taken."
Eventually, he is out of breath as he gets to the market, but he shakes his head, continuing to move, searching for the bomb, and for Arael's friends. "Now if I were a bomb, where would I be hidden..?"

Catching sight the wolf ears and tail popping up, Cian's soon able to identify Sawyer. "That must be the boy Arael mentioned. He wasn't kidding about the wolf features... hm, I can feel he's definitely a demon like me..."
"Well, lets hurry up before the bomb explodes." Ryouji interrupted his pondering.
Right."
Cian headed over in his direction, calling out as he approached. The area was now empty except for the three of them, thanks to Yori's efforts.
"Sawyer, isn't it? Arael told us you were coming." Cian said.
"Yo." Ryoujibat waved a little wing at him.

"I am Sawyer. You must be Cian and Ryouji." Sawyer waves to him. "Any ideas where you think the bomb is placed? This market is not small in the slightest."

"No... we just got here. Yori's evacuated people so at least we dont have to worry about people getting hurt. Ryouji, you can turn back to normal now." Cian said.
Ryouji flew off his shoulder and turned back into the tall, grinning, rifle-carrying vampire that practically screamed trouble. "Well, from our experience, they usually place them where there'd be the most casualties... soooo... possibly by the food trucks, where everyone goes for lunch?"
"That's good thinking, Ryouji." Cian paused. "If it went off around lunchtime, so many people could have been killed... and it's near lunchtime now... we should check it out quick." Heading there briskly, several tendrils emerged from Cian's back and started rustling through stalls, trucks, anywhere they could get into while Cian himself looked around. Ryouji also started quickly looking everywhere.
"Just give Cian a shout if you find him. He's an expert at disabling bombs." Ryouji called out to Sawyer.

"I'd be happy to see what he can do!" Sawyer chuckles as he also looks for the bomb. However, as this is happening, the walkie talkie gets a message again, this one making his heart break.
"Sawyer, group two has come back with evidence on who did this! Ulrich was right.. It's the scientists.."
"Dang it! Just when we thought we were finally done with them! Did they take anyone for experimentation?"
"Several people who ended up lost or stranded are missing now, more then likely because they took them."
Sawyer growls and has a pissed off expression. "Crap.. Well, see if you can find any signs on where they went. I'm with some people looking for a bomb right now. I'd suggest sending group two back for a timer bomb that hasn't been located yet. Alert me if you find anything."
"Yes sir!"

"When it comes to bombs, Cian's the man." Ryouji commented.
"While I appreciate the kudos, Ryouji, we ARE still looking for the bomb..." Cian said.
"Yeah, right." Ryouji kept looking but glanced over at Sawyer. He could hear some sort of sound from the walkie talkie, but he couldn't make out what was being said. He'd just ask later. He broke into one of the food carts and then let out a loud yell. "I FOUND IT!"
Cian perked up immediately and rushed over. Ryouji picked up the bomb out of a cooler, carefully handing it to Cian. The timer was ticking down fast, there were only five minutes left on it. It was prime to explode. Cian grabbed it and set it down, immediately setting to work, opening it up and messing with the wires, a look of total concentration on his face. Yanking out a little green wire, the time stopped ticking and Cian let out a sigh of relief.

Sawyer sighs once he puts the walkie talkie back on his belt, and he blinks once he hears that Ryouji found the bomb and rushed to the two men. Letting out a small sigh, he smiles at Cian. "You sure do know your stuff!"

Cian smiled back. "Indeed. Disarming bombs is my specialty."
Holding the now harmless bomb, he slipped it into his bag for proper disposal later. They hadn't heard anything from Arael, and there was still the third bomb to be concerned about. He knew Arael would be fine, angels were hard to kill, even if they almost got blown up... but he was concerned nontheless. Arael didn't have the skills to diffuse a bomb like he did. In fact, he wondered why he hadn't heard from him yet.
"Sooo, what was that you were talking about on your walkie talkie?" Ryouji butted in. "Anything we should know?"

Sawyer takes a deep breath, still pissed about the news. "My friends and I have been dealing with this group of scientists who have been experimenting on people, demons, literally anyone they can get their hands on. They found evidence that the bombs are they're doing. It's believed that they did this to heard people away, making them get lost or stranded. Not only that, but they hoped this would cover their tracks, and people would think the bombs are why several people went missing."
He sighs and places his hand on his forehead, frustrated about this. "I really hoped that the last time I saw them would be the FINAL time.. Guess I was wrong.."

Cian and Ryouji exchanged glances at the news. The grin was wiped right off Ryouji's face and he looked pissed.
"Sounds like the kind of people I'd like to shoot in the face." He muttered. "Man, we've already dealt with so many assholes in Japan, but it looks like they'll always pop up all over the globe. Ugh."
"Sounds like the kind of people we detest. It wasn't that long ago that we ran into two women who were the results of experimentation in a place far away and they..." Cian shivered slightly remembering the utter darkness he'd felt in that instance. "Well, needless to say, we've soon learnt that there's no line people aren't willing to cross."
"Yeah." Ryouji said. "We should tell Yori about this. I'm sure he'll want to stay a bit longer and try to help deal with them."
"Come in, Cian!" Arael's voice came suddenly in Cian's ear. "I found the bomb. It's just about ready to blow, I can't get it to you in time."
"Damn - where are you??"
"Up in the air - as far as I can get this thing. If it explodes in the sky, no harm will be don-"
The communication was cut off suddenly. No further words came from Arael, despite Cian's sudden frantic calling. A few minutes later, the faint sound of a 'boom' was heard, way above them in the air. Cian instantly knew that had to be the bomb, panic suddenly welling up inside him. Why had Arael been suddenly cut off? Had he gotten away from the blast in time?

"Arael!" Sawyer quickly gets the walkie talkie from his belt and got into contact with a friend of his.
Else where in the city, a girl with purple hair mixed with orange and green eyes picks up the walkie talkie.
"Amanda, go to the air, quickly. An angel had went up to the sky so that the final bomb wouldn't hurt anyone, but communication with him has been cut off. Please let us know if he's okay!"
"Got it! I'll let you know if I find him!"
With that, her tiny owl wings suddenly grow big enough for her to take flight with. Jumping up to the sky, she makes her way to the area where the bomb had detonated. "Are you here, Mr. Angel?" She calls for Arael.

There's the sound of a cough as the explosion cloud disapates. Arael is a little bruised, but otherwise he managed to chuck the bomb and get far enough away to avoid any serious injuries. He's feeling around his ear and realises his communication device must've fallen out. Cian must be freaking out, so he should head back straight away. However, the sound of a girl's voice catches his attention.
"Hello?" He called back. "Who's there?"
On the ground, Yori came back to where Cian, Ryouji and Sawyer were standing. He looks surprised by Sawyer, but makes no comment. "Is the bomb disabled?"
"Yes." Cian said. "And Arael found the one in the church, but we lot lost contact..."
"I'm sure he'll be fine." Yori said, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. "He's endured worse, back at Tokyo tower. Angels are hard to kill."
Cian nodded in response.
Looking at Sawyer now, Yori extended a hand. "My name is Yori Yamamoto, I'm the leader of the company. You are...?"

Amanda smiles as she hears the cough. "I'm Amanda, a friend of Sawyer's. He asked for me to fly up here to see if you're okay. He sounded really worried about you." The girl tells him
Sawyer smiles. Something about Yori makes him feel a bit more sure that these guys are good people. Maybe perhaps cause he can see something that reminds him of himself?
"I'm Sawyer. I live in a city within a cave named Ceronia. There, the people have different leaders. One for the medical group, one for the farming group, ect. Though I didn't really place myself in a mayor like position, I've always been called the main leader, so I guess I am wherever I want to or not." He says with a small laughter.

"Amanda? Well, nice to meet you." Arael smiles gently. "It's nice to meet you. We should be getting back to the ground, before they send drones or something to search the sky. Lets head over to the market way, to meet up with the others."
"Ceronia... that name sounds vaguely familiar." Yori said thoughtfully. "Was it ever on the news? And have you happened to find anything about where the third bomb might be? We've had no luck. Roukan's been scouring security footage from all over the city, but that takes more time than we've got. I must say, it's nice to meet a fellow leader though. I hope your people don't make your life as difficult as mine do at times."
"...that was directed at me, wasn't it?" Ryouji grumbled. Yori smirked slightly.

Amanda smiles and nods. "I hope you're in so much pain from that explosion."
"Well, we did help stop an invasion of villains in Paris, which was shown all over the world, helping others learn more about peaceful demons." Sawyer says. "We were all over the news at that time."

"I've had worse." Arael smiled. "Injuries aren't all that uncommon in our line of work."
Flying across the skies, he soon spotted the market place and identified the lone group of figures standing by the food carts. He promptly landed beside Yori, who smiled at his return. Cian looks visibly relieved and Ryouji's grin returns.
"I'm not sure." Yori admitted. "We only arrived in the city this morning, so I'm unfamiliar with the layout and popular gathering spots. Arael, what happened? We were worried."
"Earpiece fell out." The angel replied, slightly embarrassed.
"Bloody typical." Ryouji snorted. "Anyway, you guys ain't from around here either, right? You're from that Ceronia city? So I suppose you're just as in the dark as we are."
(I have no problems with them ^^ I have one girl/girl pairing myself.)

"There is a sports stadium not too far from here.. Perhaps that could be a place worthy of a bomb threat." Sawyer thinks about it, one of his wolf ears twitching.
"We're mostly liked by the people here in France. But there are still many who do not like us and see us as monsters. But we're still marching on with life. It's hard, but sometimes, life is hard. We just have to fight through it. Though I do wish would could reach out to the rest of the world."
Sawyer has a sad expression as he thinks about the places in this big world that are struggling. "There's still a lot of pain in various parts of the world.."

"Ain't that the case with all species?" Ryouji comments. "It's the same for us vampires. Same with werewolves, demons, hybrids.... well, angels are pretty universally liked but eh. They''re scared of us and fear us. They don't understand us and they don't want to."
"Yet humans can still do things just as monstrous, if not more than what any supernatural being is capable of." Yori said quietly. "But still, most species keep to their own world and leave the humans in the dark. But then, sometimes humans are the ones that create the very things they call monsters."
"You mean those girls, right?" Cian looked at him, then back at Sawyer. "Back in Japan, we met two women who had been artificially created by scientists from a source of dark magic called dark shards. One of the woman was immortal. No matter what you did to her, she just regenerated back. Physically, anyway. They wanted to see how far he regeneration would go. But all that torture left her... well, her sanity certainly wasn't in one piece. The scientists ended up thinking they'd created a monster, when it was really them, who were the monsters. When you mentioned evil scientists, that's what I immediately thought about. Different people of course, but still the same twisted business..."
"Those two were both pretty screwy." Ryouji said. "And the whole business was pretty f-"
"We should check out the stadium." Yori interrupted. "You may be on the right track. It would be a good place to look."

Sawyer nods, with a sad expression on his face. But then he starts to think of his friends, and how bad of a situation they were in. Many of them were even experimented by the scientists he is against. Yet, they were saved and are now living peaceful, happy lives that they deserve. "It's fifty fifty really. This world may have people in it who have done terrible things, such as hurting or manipulating others. But there's also a warmth in this world. Those who care for others, and want the suffering to end.."
Sawyer smiles a bit as he shakes his head. "Let's focus on the last bomb. I could take a look at the sports stadium nearby."

"That's the way the world goes round." Cian sighed. "Yes, lets go."
Heading over to the sports stadium, it become immediately apparent that it was packed in there. Even the city-wide bomb threat couldn't stop sports fans from turning up to the biggest game of the season. A triumphant roar from the crowd could be heard, even from the outside. All the bleachers were packed with people of all ages - adults, children.
"We need to evacuate the stadium, just in case... but how?" Cian asked.
"Leave it to me." Ryouji grinned and swung the rifle off his back. He aimed at the fire alarm and aimed one clear shot, shattering the glass and immediately setting off a loud siren all throughout the sports stadium. Pandemonium ensure, people suddenly afraid it was a bomb, or perhaps an arson attempt. Others were dismayed their game was interrupted.
"Good work Ryouji.. now turn into a bat before everyone comes and sees you holding that rifle." Yori said. The vampire obeyed quick smart.

"Great, another large place to search." Sawyer sighed.
"Joey, Celeste and I can check out the left side." Amanda says as Joey and Celeste finally catch up. "What happened, you two?"
"Those scientists attacked us! They seemed really butt hurt over what we were doing with the bombs." Joey says. "We need to be extra careful!"
(I was thinking that they could meet a group of experimented demon children who want to get back at the world for the pain they had to endure, and Ceronia wants to try and safe them)

"Roukan, can you focus your search of the footage to the sports stadium?" Yori spoke into his earpiece. He heard a brief "sure" on the other end and then nothing. Roukan must be in his element.
"You were attacked?" Yori asked, shocked. These people... they would even attack teenagers like this. It made his blood boil, thinking about it. How dare they?? "We'll take care of them after we find the last bo-"
Before he could finish his sentence, an explosion rang out across the stadium. From the western bleachers, a giant hole how stood. Seats had been blown apart, others had been sent flying with debris being scattered all across the pitch. A huge plume of smoke rose from the stadium. However, thanks to the fire alarm, nobody had still been there. Everyone was unharmed.
"...well, I suppose that takes care of that..." Yori mumbled.

"That was fast." Sawyer blinks as he lets go of his ears after the explosion. "Glad no one got hurt."
"Sawyer, I can fly up into the sky to see where the scientists could've taken the missing people. Plus, I can keep an out for any attacks from them." Amanda tells him, and grins when Sawyer nods.
"See if you can find anything. We'll get those people back, even if we have to endure major injuries."
Amanda nods and her owl like wings grow bigger again, once again taking to the sky
So they plan to fight the scientists and rescue the missing people?!

"I suspect you won't see anything right now. The ones responsible will be long gone. We should regroup and come up with a plan, as well as tending to our wounded." Yori suggested. "Come back to our hotel. Roukan will look at all the explosions today and see if we can identify them and where they went. That may give us a better lead."
"Sounds good." Cian agreed and looked at the kids. "You guys going to come?"

"It's good to check just in case. As for us going to the hotel with you, we would like to get our wounds checked out." Sawyer says as he looks at Joey and Celeste, who are badly wounded from the attack from the scientists they had encountered. "But someone needs to go to Ceronia to tell the others that the bombs are gone. The citizens were worried when I left, and I want to tell them the news to help them calm down."

"We have medical supplies back at the hotel." Yori said. "Perhaps one or two of your uninjured could go back to the city to let them know? The rest of you can come with us to make a plan if you wish."
"Doesn't your city have cellphones? Can't you reach them that way? Or does the whole being underground thing make that difficult?" Ryouji pondered.

"Sadly, it makes it difficult with cellphones. We've been trying to find a way to make it work, but nothing has worked so far." Celeste says.
"I can go back to C-"
"Sawyer, I want to know why your head is bleeding.. It's been bugging me for a while.." Celeste asks
Sawyer laughs a bit, nervously as he looks away. He knows Celeste, Joey, and Amanda will freak out when they hear about him jumping into the range of a bomb's explosion as he protected that little girl..

"He was injured by a bomb explosion. He ran in to save a little girl." Arael piped up, unaware he was throwing Sawyer under the bus. "He saved her life."
"That was... reckless." Yori blinked. "But brave. But you more than anyone probably need to rest for awhile."
