Thank you for the comment on 'Snow White'
But no. 'Snow White: A tale of terror' is not quite true to the original version, at least not as true as you put it. In the original, the queen is Snow White's true mother. The stepmother was only added in the revised editions. Secondly, Snow White was only 7 and she had a sexual relationship with her father. The huntsman was not the Queen's brother. Snow White had sex to bribe the huntsman. The dwarves were really just dwarves and they were old and ugly. Snow White had sex with all of them, begging them to let her stay. The 3 attemps to kill Snow White were different. The Prince was a Prince and not a doctor. He had a lust for corpses.
Despite all this, I still love the movie. I saw it 3 times. It feels more... right. Maybe I have a taste for dark tales
