I think I'm perpetually stuck in one. (I'm a builder, I don't draw). Another artist told me she has the same problem where it's almost as if what we're making doesn't want to be what we want to make it.

I know what that feels like! It's just killer, isn't it? That's why I usually step back, listen to a different genre of music, and work on something else or go watch some cartoons. The release of artistic tension helps me a lot.
