The best things in life aren't free!
Truer words never spoken [except 'Gold > all'.]
And gah. I feel bad for you. Moths suck.
When this happened, I simply turned on the light next to me and watched the bugger flock over to it XD
I have... photoshop difficulties. Can't get the reflections right like Nephos does. But it's okay. Graphics is fun without skinning; skinning just sort of increases your knowledge and can possibly make things beneficial towards others.
*checks out pages*
...wow. We've been talking a lot.
Neat. =o

Ericanque [2006-09-17 03:08:28 +0000 UTC]

Gold > all.

Gargh I hate it when that happens, though usually in my case it's a moth the size of my head.

Oh I don't mind I got my money back for that ring, it wasnt as pretty as my new one anyway so I don't mind.

Don't get to addicted, it isnt as great as everyone thinks. Take that from an ex-staff member and a current Elite lol, skinning isnt that challenging - you shouldnt find it to hard. Good luck with it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

greynotepad [2006-09-17 03:03:23 +0000 UTC]

Gold owns. Trust me. It owns 'owns'.
Ahhhh. A fly just attacked my computer screen because I turned all the lights out >.> Sort of annoying when you're trying to type away on your laptop. x]
Green finger. Bah. If it's pretty, what does it matter? XD
Seriously though, sorry about that. Must have been bad to have to throw out a fellow friend.
And hot weather. Bleh.
[I need to be more active at the SZ... xD. And get into skinning or something. It just looks hard 8D]

Ericanque [2006-09-17 02:47:45 +0000 UTC]

It’s gold, beautiful shiny gold. I should take a picture of it sometime, I had a sterling silver ring, it was lovely and gothic but it had an allergic reaction with me and turned my finger green. Odd.

Yeah sleeps my friend but I don’t care, he’s been neglecting my phone calls lately so I’ll probably pay him a visit in about an hours time.

Yeah-rainy weather, horrible. And when its hot its always really sticky and evil. England ftl.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

greynotepad [2006-09-17 02:44:53 +0000 UTC]

Shiny objects ftw! Is it sterling? Sterling catches pretty lighting XD
Sleep is your friend. I'm not particularly aquainted with it myself, though... = P I happen to enjoy rainy weather... by the weather sucking, is that what you would mean? (Over in Seattle, I've heard it's terrible. I like the light rain, not the break your window kind XD) My vision of England has always been rainy streets, broad sidewalks, busses, busy streets, etc.
But I get your drift.

Ericanque [2006-09-17 02:33:02 +0000 UTC]

About the same length as me then, I’ll have been using the computer for three years come April 07. I’m pretty ashamed actually lol.

Yeah but I’ll probably fall asleep on my keyboard in a minute, I keep staring at my ring … it’s just so … shiny. You don’t want to come to England lol; it’s full of chavs (violent twats that hate everybody and everything) and the weather sucks lol. Stay in California, I’d much rather live other there.

Nicola would probably side with graphics, as far as I know she’d rather become a web designer then a programmer.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

greynotepad [2006-09-17 02:21:52 +0000 UTC]

Yes... I'm a computer newbie; I've only been using it for two years 8D
And the desktop... this was the 'inspiration':
[link]

I said to myself, "Hm, I guess Opera must not be that bad.', and thought that it would be nice to take a look outside of Mozilla and IE. XD
It's seven here, at night, and I was too lazy to check the United Kingdom's timezones, so I didn't realize how early it was over there! You're typing extremely well for it being three o`clock in the morning.
...I've always wanted to live in England. It simply rocks. I haven't been out of California or Nevada in my whole life (and even pertaining to Nevada, I've only been as far as Las Vegas XD). I'm jumping subjects now. The soda I just drank is coming to back to me now and making me energetic and 'hyper'...

As for the topic, I think it would be an interesting assesment for the SZ as well. Nicola's opinion would be interesting, since she uses javascript and skins and such. Some say skinning is the joy of life, and the Mini Bill Gates' say that hacking/programming is the joy of life.
And where to put it might be... well, I'm not sure if this is in the right context or not, but is making me decisive. I guess the Technology section... XD

Ericanque [2006-09-17 02:11:16 +0000 UTC]

You’re eleven? You look older then that and you’re certainly a lot more mature then any eleven years old I’ve come across. (That’s what you meant right? It’s 3:am, I get confused easily.)

Depends where the topic would be held really, we’d get the wannabe hackers and the script kiddies voting for the computers and the Adobe fanatics would team up with the glitter girls and vote for graphics. Could be interesting though.

I have no idea what you meant about my desktop so you’ll have to explain it to me again, lol sorry. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

greynotepad [2006-09-17 02:04:59 +0000 UTC]

And it's all beneficial!
Sixth grade in California... well, it's basically a bunch of eleven year olds squabbing over who gets out of homework. I just turned eleven the eighth, but in no way do I wish to be part of their lame pase fights >.>

We really need to make some kind of Computer vs. GFX topic at the SZ someday. It might be interesting, the replies. XD
I could not help but laugh about your impression about Opera. Too funny: too true. I barely 'upgraded' to it today from my Mozilla days, and believe it or not, your desktop screenshot in your gallery inspired me to do so

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Ericanque [2006-09-17 01:59:06 +0000 UTC]

I can’t see why it would be a problem with my Operating System; it’s been pretty decent up until now. Human error I suppose, though I agree Opera is a jealous yet divine creature and will crush those who are led astray by the “enemy”.

Let them freak out XD. I remember when my hair was really sort;, I mean look at it now. I always used to grow it then cut it and come in the next day with it really short … so yeah I know how you mean. XD

I’m not really sure what 6th Grade is over there. Heh, my mum couldn’t understand why I didn’t take computing over graphic design, because I really want to spend six hours a day studying Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and JavaScript don’t I. –rolls eyes- I never get bored with art no matter how long I do it for, drawing, computer art … it’s all fun.

greynotepad [2006-09-17 01:49:30 +0000 UTC]

Mmmm... *nods*. I tried it on Opera, too, but it worked...
I doubt that it's a problem with your actual operating system, and I guess that it is now safe to assume that Opera has feelings and will lash out at unfaithful users. =o
I'm guessing I'm next, if that's the case...

And thanks. I streaked it dark red a while ago, erm, highlighted it, but it's sort of returning to the dark-brown-ness. It was early in the morning, and I sort of picked up the camera, sat out side, and snapped something XD. All the kids at school freaked out on the first day. Good times.

Once again, good luck with Opera.
Graphics deisgn owns networking. I'm in sixth grade now, and I get to coordinate projects for my middle school teachers
My mom even said she would have rather learned to perform cool tasks in Photoshop rather than spend thirty-six hours trying to fix something that had to do with comp. configuration. Even though that's what she basically does... XD

I gave it a try, it made one of my bars vanish and re-appear but it came back without the address bar. I tried uninstalling the software but when I re-installed it, the same settings were written.

This is exactly why I didn’t take computing and programming over graphic design at college, oh and by the way I like your hair. Random I know but I felt like mentioning it.

Yes.
Yes, that happens to me as well. It can get quite... scary; I had that problem with COCONUT-something once. Although... that was about art and how I had it worded = /
Rather quaint.
Oh, and -
Did you by chance get your address bar back?
Posted something that might help [or not] at the SZ
It's a real bummer >.>

Believe it or not that tree was originally meant to be an airplane. =O

Oh I'm not bothered about the artists, I just want MySpace to make damn sure I can still play The Used on my profile page. I don't care about Tom or how many legal problems he has, the more the better for all I care.

Yeah well me and the SZ staff have had a lot of differences lol. And I don't care what some say I'm just as talented as some of the staff ... what some of them can do I can do easily, along with a lot of the memberbase. =S Some of them are cool, but others piss me off with the whole LOL I KNO EVERYTHIN attitude.

greynotepad [2006-09-17 00:57:31 +0000 UTC]

They do have that spelling thing down >.>
What are they, dictionaries?
I understand that completely. That happens to me a lot, too... So telling him to go shove it was perfect. They don't forgive easily, so I see. Crazy trolls XD
And I agree with you with the MySpace issue, as plenty of credible music artists use that site and it helps their publicity and such some.
["LOL WE'RE PERFECT" = Perfect. XD]
Oh and.
Your Christmas Tree piece.
Rocked. =o

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Ericanque [2006-09-17 00:33:43 +0000 UTC]

Haha I love you lol. I don’t care about YouTube but so long as MySpace can still keep some of the songs uploaded by the real author (I can’t see why they shouldn’t) then I don’t care what happens and I find it hilarious that after all this time of being “LOL WE’RE PEFECT” they’re finally in some legal shit.

I don’t really get flamed much, but I usually throw it straight back. Last night I went and told KS to piss off for correcting my spelling when I was busy working on a project, he’ll never forgive me but I don’t care.

Your view on the YouTube/MySpace fiasco owned. As well as the ': )'. And your art. Though, you hear that a lot XD
You're like a guru on the Skin Zone.
And put up with the flamming >.O
Like... Nicola... XD
