Ha ha, don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you. evey weekend i say to myself, "Ok, you have to sketch a little"... but I'm always to busy. Oh well. Erin!! I'm writing this in animation class! Thank you for all of your kind feedback... your so sweet. Hopefully I can post things more often with this class. =^) TTFN!

SO, looking for some art tips I see? Well first off count yourself lucky you're in an art class 'cuz that means there's always someone experienced there to turn to (your teacher of course). Second, I suggest you try figuring out if your goin' for a more cartoony/anime look, photorealism, abstract or a mixture of any and all of those. Then, just start drawing pictures of your favorite characters or people, starting from emulatin' photographs (damn I sounded so country for a sec' right there) to eventually drawing original photos of them. Atleast, that's what I did. And ALWAYS try new stuff even if the results aren't always perfect or just straight up suck.
And one more thing; practice CONSISTENTLY. Don't get complacent and just say "yeah I'm good enough." You can ALWAYS get better, and it doesn't help taking a few example from those who are better than you in order to develope your skills. It'll keep comin' naturally. Hope that helps. See 'ya around.
