I suspect our two perceptions of professionalism may fundamentally differ.
Forging relationships through returning support to those whose work we appreciate is paramount to the perpetuation of a healthy community or network of individuals.
If you wish to dismiss the proposal on the basis that the former concept is somehow unprofessional, that's OK - But the integrity of my offer shall remain

If you'd really like my work you'd watch me without any kind of offer of that sort. It means that if i wouldn't subscribe to you....you wouldn't watch me even though you like my work. Or am i not getting something here?

"You're welcome to subscribe... ...I'd very happily return the support...". It was simply a humble offer toward an exchange of help. An offer which was not forced and could have happily been turned down without questioning my professional integrity; a perfectly reasonable proposal which many people have gladly accepted.
You liked the trailer, I thought you might like to subscribe, I offered a return of support - Is that proposal really that unacceptable?
And yes, I do watch people without them subscribing, but generally the proposal has been more gracefully refused and the ensuing conversation has been much more pleasant.
Anyway, once again, if you feel this an unreasonable exchange of assistance, that's fine

Our conversation was not unpleasant according to me. We rather have highly differing views on the same topic and we both voiced them.
It is good to know about different viewpoints even if one does not accept them. We are in the creative field; the characters we create should not be monotonous (acc. to me). Contrast helps a lot.

i've seen your art before(a few years back) in the wallpaper section of some sites. i didnt know it was your artwork. sadly people on the internet use/distribute art without crediting the artists.
