Holidays are boring!! How are you going with the mobile thingy? I've barely started, but I've done some portraits from photos for that second part of the assessment, I'm enjoying it, probably because I don't have to stare ay my own face anymore! How glorious!! Ur work is cooool

The scratch effect is accomplished by just using a nail and scratching into the board i am painting on.

My second self portrait took the shortest amount of time out of all of my HSC paintings mainly because it's only a little bit bigger then A3 size. It took me a couple of hours of planning, sketching, and then about a day to paint because I didn't stop for about 10 hrs straight, lol. If things go well I'll just sit there and paint all day. I'm still new to deviantart.. so this is all a bit unfamiliar..
Oh and I really like the paintings in your gallery!
