I was caught by your style in fantasy illustration... then I discovered your wonderful miniatures: you're a great talent!

Well, to paint, draw, and sculpt you need knowledge of the structure of stuff. If you only do one of those things it is probably because you are not interested on the others, not because you can't, me thinks. Those three practices feed into each other directly.
I don't know dude, at first I wanted to be a 3d modeller and I quickly realized that the people that where the best modellers were also the best draftmen, so for me it was plain logic that I needed to get good at drawing and in the end I liked it more. Drawing its a lot quicker than sculpting, useful to memorize stuff, etc... Some people that sculpt don't draw, for sure, maybe these days its different as sculpting tools (digital) have gotten easier, but in the past what it looked like to me is that a sculptor that couldn't draw didn't have a bright future.

I agree it's all part of the same awareness, creating must be related to finding ways to relate to "stuff" by different angles -and through different tecniques. Yet some cultivate themselves more than others in these abilities -or innate sensibilities perhaps, and some have a taste more attuned to those who will, eventually, praise your realizations. I don't know either, dude, but you're really good to me, that's what I mean. Ciao!

Have you ever tried your hand at traditional sculpting, mate?

I would like to, but its hard to find the time to practice. Got a couple blocks of sculpey and made some experiments, but I never finished anything...
Do you have any advice?
