the reason I ask if she's gray or white is because sometimes people use a similar color that makes the character's design easier to see. For instance, I color my black ibizan hound character in a very dark gray so you can still see his features.

yes! are they a certain species ('cept the tail, which is really cool BTW) ? I use refs when I draw so I like to look up things that help me capture the character better.

okay, just checking, so is her muzzle more like say a polar bear or more like a big cat (leopard/mountain lion etc.) ? I want to draw her right.
oh and of course! there's tons of people with their own species designs, I don't see any reason you couldn't too. I'd give mine big ol gator claws!
