As much as I'm a pedant who loves to show off my vocabulary and grammar, comments where the main point is to correct someone's English are extremely trivial. Simply makes you look doltish. Along with this, I've seen that this account and its posts have been reported for issues marking mature content to no avail. That plus the fact that this is just a male basically stockpiling sexual images that are not his and that he likely has no permission to post should be more than enough reason to remove the account. The site is for art. If the posts were actually his work, then the main issue is the mature content filter. Stolen images have no place on deviantArt and many, many people seem to be working to clear it out. Staff just seems to perpetuate it. All there is really left to do is 'whine' publicly. So, some food for thought: some people have learning disabilities and even dyslexia. Be kinder, and don't try to act so pedantic if you don't have the actual intellectual acuity to back it up.Β

I use to think this wasn't a common issue that most people on a art website would be able to determine the difference, but over the last year of seeing people blow their lid over sexy images in the what's hot section I've had to re-address my understanding to conclude that very few people can even tell the difference between things they think are pornographic & things dA doesn't even require a mature content tag for.

DA's rules CLEARLY states that erect penis, fluids and penetration is AGAINST the rules, even "artistic" representations of it, so by DA's rules, even if it wasn't porn, it should have been taken down.

Not enough people paying to maintain the platform or advertising on the platform, so dA decided to do the bare minimum required by law to maintain their 'safe harbor' status under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, which only requires there be a mechanism for copyright holders to file a DMCA takedown notification to take down anything they breaches their own copyright.
That does not extend to the user base being able to flag stolen artwork anymore & so the site is rapidly going to hell in a hand basket. The fact that these survived for years before hand just shows how ineffective the moderation team was before the purge of those rules.

I find it truly sad.Β I've been on DA for a few years.. and have talked to photographers and models alike, who limit their exposure to the open web so they don't become victims of people like this.Β I've looked through the gallery.. it's okay, for being plagiarized and stolen images throughout the web.Β I have seen some trash on DA... but it's art to someone.. and it's the creator's hard work, not stolen sh** only added to make the creator of the account look like they have talent.Β There is enough evidence in the comments to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that these are stolen images... and I think I speak for all the true artists on here that this account needs to be shut down.
