Hi Pip,
I just took a stroll through your gallery, oh my, you are multi gifted
I started drawing just over 2 months agao and I have had very supportive feedack on my work through many DA friends. One tip which helped me a lot was the comment that most of my drawings are very light in color. I have focussed on getting more Β΄blackΒ΄ into my work, getting better results in depth and shapes. I think that if you would try to do that as well, the drawings would become even better
Watchout or the mistake I made, by making dark spots by increasing the pressure on my pencil, it creates a patchwork that is not nice. The way to do it I learned is by applying layer over layer...which is also a great opportiunity for me to improve my patience..................
