Haha gotcha I was wondering if DAZ ever considered allowing renders to be done in a cloud server with large GPUs -cloud servers should be the standard as an alternate for costly hardware in my opinion

Cloud rendering sounds good, untill you start running the numbers.
I just perused a few and there is no way they would be cost effective.
At some costs I could buy an equivalent server every 4 days, figuring 24/7 rendering.
Gpu rendering wasn't much better.
About 2 months, 6 weeks to be exact, and I've just bought 8 Tesla k80s used.
Again figuring 24/7 operations.

Just averaging the price at $1.50/hr comes to $13000 a year for 24/7.

For the occasional render maybe.
Day to day no freaking way, unless you could get a volume discount.

Really unless you know how long a render is going to take, it could easily break the bank.
