Aww... Well, thank ya! That means a lot to me. Tellah reminds me strongly of my dad (stubborness, wants nothing but the best for his children (which was something I didn't realize until my stepmom pointed it out to me. ), can often be pigheaded and misguided), whom I love wholeheartedly, so it's somewhat easy for me to write for him. :3 Heh. My years-in-the-making Tellah!fic, Sins of the Father , is somewhat dedicated to him as well.

To be honest, I haven't written fanfic in quite awhile, since I've been busy trying to improve on my arts -- unless you count the doujinshi/comics I'm working on, that. Seeing all this, and catching up on mount_ordeals makes me wanna, though.

Anyway, you're most welcome. ^_^ And that's neat that your dad and Tellah have a lot of parallels - it's always nice when you find characters that remind you strongly of people in real life. Gives you someone to look to for inspiration on the character - and it's all the better when it's a person and/or character you like or love, too.

And hey - why not pick up fanfiction again? Writing doesn't preclude you from drawing, after all. One can do both at once! Well... er... not quite at the same exact time, but you know what I mean.

I find myself alternating between doing a lot of drawing or doing a lot of writing, just depending on my interests & overall mood at a given point in time. So, whatever works and makes you happy and keeps you inspired, eh?
