: D so I know you are very informed on the WWI time period, but how about WWII? I'm curious because I'm doing a costuming project for my design class, and I'm using 1941 as my time period and was wondering if you had any suggestions for resources I could use to get ideas!

Hmmm, probably something you could do is look into movies from the time with contemporary costuming-- One that comes to mind is 'Casablanca', which is from '42, I think. And Google can be really helpful too as long as you're careful about checking to make sure it's what you hope it is, since the google-image results have funny labels on them sometimes. It's a good way to brainstorm, although if you have a library at school at has books on this stuff, that's the absolute best way to go.
