Thanks for giving my pic a favorite.
I wish I could say I had more to do with it other than riding onto a dirt road and aiming a camera, but to see it grouped with quality stuff like yours makes it worthwhile.
Keep up your great work, Sleepy... Apple... Dragon.... Saying those together is a strange combo. Where'd that come from? I like it.

On the contrary, yes it is.
You show an intuitive eye for character (especially in your drawings and photos of yourself) and a desire to share the subtleties of life in the world you see around you.
Work on refining it to what it is exactly you want to 'show' and you can kick the self-deprecating talk.
I'm still curious about the name, however.

Well thank you very much. To be honest I don't put that much thought into it. It's just me.
Basically the name comes from a painting I did a long time ago, of a snake with an apple and Eve. A guy I knew said the snake looked like a sleepy apple dragon. I liked the term and it just kind of stuck.

Thank you for the fav, good fellow stranger friend. And after reading your "Argh!" journal entry, I must agree with you. Though it's usually pretty rare artists get much recognition in the first place. And the majority that do are dead by the time their pieces are first truly appreciated! It's a silly system, but we'll just have to fix that won't we?
