I can't seem to break Erebus's Dark Embrace and he pows me with a 1000 damage Primal Darkness.
Any suggestions?

Sorry for taking so long, I never log into dA anymore ._.
But what I did was just slam Erebus with my best attacks and hope it would break. I think it takes about 1000 damage and I was about level 83 (I grind a lot) so the sphere always broke for me.
