So, hey, I was shopping again today (BIG SURPRISE) and I saw a long-ish jacket at Jacob CNX in brown. I was walking by, but it caught my eye. It looks like it is down. Looked really comfy to me. AE had a longer black down jacket, but it wasn't that long (just longer than a regular bomber - the one at Jacob is longer and nicer I think).
Pottery Barn had...everything nice. Yup.

I think I'm going to hit the mall this afternoon to try to find a coat finally. I discovered in my eye-balling of other people's coats that not all of the ones that look like down are down. I guess some have this polyfill stuff. I wish I could find a really light pink one! Mmm I love pink.
I'll check out Jacob. I was looking online and found a couple that looked good but now I can't remember what stores they were at! Banana Republic maybe? I can't remember, I'll have to check it though. One was polyfill, white, 3/4ish length with a fleece collar.

Coat shopping is almost as hard as shopping for jeans. I saw a pink jacket. It is at the Eaton Centre in the display window. I can't remember the store name. The jacket was long though if my memory isn't being a bitch. Near Old Navy? I like the store. Probably because everything is so expensive. Stupid expensive taste.

I like expensive stuff too, but then I get sad when our industrial strength apartment washing machine wrecks it.
Jeans shopping is AWFUL.

I did see that. With Stacy from What Not to Wear? I wanted them to find a jean that flares nicely without having to wear heels though. That is my biggest problem. The flare always looks great with a heel, but it gets smushed with runners and ruins the style of the jean.

Yeah totally. But the problem is, if you have it so it's just the right length to wear with a runner, then it looks like you're awaiting a flood when you wear heels. Maybe I'll have to get myself some teal Uggs to tuck my jeans into instead.
I wanted those, uh, Citizen of Humanity jeans or whatever they were. Thumbprint H or whatever. Those were the best of the bunch. They're $$$$$$$$ though. And...I'm not a size 10. But still. I saw some cute jeans at The Gap the other day that I have to go back and check out. Wow, I feel so yuppie-ish.

RE: Hallowe'en - a bunch of us are dressing up as the cast from Lost. It's awesome when you're not the only one that waited last minute and need a quick costume fix. I'm going as Rousseau (aka the French chick). We'll all just end up looking like "dirty people with ripped clothes" but, hey, that's cool.
