Wooah! 6 years? That's amazing!!! Β Oh, and the piano is pretty fun to play too! Especially when the beat of the song is happy and bouncy, it's just like playing a game!~
I originally enrolled in a small music studio a few years ago I think, but the teacher wasn't very good... He just made me memorize where my fingers were supposed to land and not how to read the notes. So, since that didn't turn out very well, my aunt and mom decided to help me learn the piano properly whenever they had the time. And over this summer, I was able to learn and polish a lot of new and really nice pieces, like "Moon River", "Strangers in the Night", "Blue Danube (Waltz)", and a few more old or classical songs! The ironic thing is, I didn't really have to leave my own home to be able to play the piano, haha! 
My hands would hurt sometimes after I practice because I had to reach for the far keys, but I was still adjusting to it. But hey, it's all part of learning, right? And I'm really glad that my grandfather kept encouraging me or telling me off to play it, because if he didn't, I might not have been able to achieve this!Β

Nah, AP stands for "Advanced Placement" (at least in my school district). So I think it's supposed to be similar to a college level class? I'm not quite sure, since this year will be my first time taking that class.
Thanks haha. Math does dominate a lot! I mainly dislike it just because it's so time consuming. But my homework doesn't have any coordinates we need to find (thank goodness) and instead I just have to label a bunch of geographical features like rivers and mountains.
Oh, thank you! I mainly have been playing so long because my elementary school offered string classes and I had gotten really excited. Now I take the classes in my current school's string orchestra and I take private lessons outside school to work on solo pieces/duets.
Piano does sound fun! Your first teacher doesn't sound too good, so it's great that your family helped you! And those pieces sound nice, you must be really talented!

It's no problem! And that's interesting to learn too (my class really similar to what you described anyway: it's "Advanced Placement Human Geography" but apparently everyone at the school calls it "AP HuG" XD).
Yeah I'm relieved that I don't have any math to do this summer (and hopefully your school isn't giving you too much homework, even though it's actually in the school year for you)!
Maybe someday your school will get that sort of class! I'm actually really lucky that my school district offers orchestra classes.
