Im trying to figure out ways to make a living selling my work, do you mind me asking if you make enough $$ selling through deviant art alone? or do you use other websites/methods? OORR do you still work a regular job in addition to selling your art??

To sell your art, you have to promote your work on different sites. Then the people will contact with you to order commissions.
The starting is very difficult and is a slowly process...
If it's any consolation, with my illustrations do not pay my invoices, the work that pay me a salary is the web design and graphical design work.
The illustration world it's very dificult...

I studied graphic design, art direction, and traditional illustration. The last three years I did several online workshops of digital illustration, environment design, matte painting and color theory from the gnomon online workshop school. I recommend these awesome workshops.
