P.S. I love de Lint's work...I think my all-time favorite is 'The Wild Wood'. Also, the short story, 'Where Desert Spirits Crowd The Night'. Are there any in particular that you favor?

Ahhh, "The Wild Wood"....I cry everytime I finish reading that story. As for a favorite, it depends on where I'm at emotionally at a particular time. I am so in love with Newford and its inhabitants. For the last while (year or so) I would have to say "Someplace To Be Flying". The title is genius and I love de Lint's concept of the Grace. I'm going to go look up the story you mention right now...

That's such a wonderful book.

'Someplace To Be Flying' is another favorite of mine. I think the crow girls are awesome. Upon finishing the book, I felt compelled to draw them. [link]

Jilly has really grown on me; I read 'The Onion Girl' a few months back, and just finished 'Widdershins' a week or so ago. The Newford series is fantastic.
