Dude, That's an AWESOME idea! We should tell all our anime fan friends to do this...
We should build some kind of little theater close to our houses, invite our friends (In real life, unless we know if they have a dA account), and tickets being optional, and in the theater, we play anime TV shows and movies, like Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle for example!
How we're going to play the movies, I actually do know, but it'd be sort of pricey and difficult; if you're asking, I'm answering with 'We should buy a projector to play movies like drive-in theaters!' (You've been to a drive-in theater, right?) I know you're going to say something about it a bit to the negative side, and I also know that isn't really the BEST idea ever, but it's still a good one, right? Yeah, once I think of an idea, my mind drags me to higher grounds, making my ideas sound dumb/crazy and/or pricey and people think negative about them...

I'm trying to build a theater, but I have to find a powerpoint projector, tickets and a large tent. So far, no luck with finding a projector, but I've found a perfect-sized tent, but it's too overpriced. That and I don't have tickets
