Muro... it's the techniques.
I use the bucket to set a background color first.
And then I use basic brush at about 20~40 opacity to blot out the basic colors.
I use a darker brown to make the lines, after the basic colors.
And then I use the same brush I used above and start coloring. The key is to do the coloring starting from the darkest colors, and then add the lighter ones above it.

I guess the reaper war series is pretty much done with the 3+1 pieces of artworks. And so far I'm creating an oc universe that spins off from a post-synthesis galaxy. Let's say that the ending was too traumatic for me to draw Shepard with a serious backdrop, I'd stay away from that and put her in a lighter theme, such as chibis and funny comic strips.
But all and all, thank you sooo much for your support!

Deadline for my Master's Thesis proposal.
I'm down to a point where I've gathered all the information and drew out all the graphs to support my argument, but there are always this one missing piece whenever I read through it. And technically I'm burned out of words and speech, and the "coffee + sugar + cake" boost combo have just stopped working.

To propose that the government is wrong with their mentality.
Basically what they've done was to combine two entirely different industries, claimed that an innovation because no other countries have done so, and ended up burning out the funds because the cake wasn't big enough for everyone to eat. Now they got not enough money, they're focusing in putting the resources into the international corporations to gain more profit, which is exactly the opposite of how it should be, because the "only" commonality of the two original industries relies heavily on local business and a domestic economy flow.
I just don't know why they'd do that. But, hey, it's the government.

Government does a lot of strange things for strange reasons. Although, it takes people to run said government so the people elected in there are strange. There was a quote one really old republican said to the effect of "government is more about the politics then the policy."
Meaning, government officials care more about being re-elected then actually doing the job they were elected to do in the first place. Now, not all of them are like this, just a vast majority. XD

You can practice your skills while working in a game company, you will improve even faster then, trust me. I was working as a colorist for a small mobile game studio for 4 years (with no faith in my skills), waiting for luck, but nothing happened, until I decided to quit that awful job and to send my portfolio to a bigger game company where I've finally started to draw. Don't procrastinate with this things, it only gets you frustrated in the end. Your DA-gallery is more then enough to be shown as a portfolio for the game industry. I hope, that I don't bother you with my advice, but I think it's really important.

I really appreciate your suggestions, your words are by far one of the nicest ones when discussing this issue.
As the matter of fact, I've spent a period of time searching for jobs in the game industry as a 2D artist. It was when I just finished my university degree, and for 3 months I went on interviews by interviews, and got no job offers other than only criticisms of how my art are unskillful and useless (yes, I did get such feedback from one of my interviewers).
So I put the dream job idea aside, and focused on my second passion, which is Cultural Politics. I got accepted into a National University, so I kinda figured it's my destiny, for now. I definitely won't quit drawing just because some professional people said my artwork are useless. However, getting my Master's Thesis done is 1st top priority for now, otherwise it'd be meaningless for me to be here in the first place.
