XDΒ It's not hard to get some money from art at least, even if it is far lower than you'd like, even if you're doing stuff you do want to create, let alone easier to get money if you do stuff other people want.Β It's mostly harder for writing because TL;DR is a thing, and thus people can enjoy art faster than how long it takes to read, etc.Β Thus, people will pay for something they can enjoy in one go and share easily over something that takes longer to finish enjoying...Β Unless its something that's skilled or clever enough to get on a bestseller list.

The problem of making draw is all the time you spend and all your effort to increase your skill and make a good one, some people think it is easy to draw and they really miss the word 'effort'
I can say writing is also the same, the more you put effort into it, the more it will sell better
All iS about effort.. if someone take it easy and not serious, they will not make any good improvement

Yes, both are hard to do, though even if you're 'equally' skilled in either, an artist can online sell adopts or take commissions and get more completed to sell in a single day than a writer can.Β Not because it is easier, but because in the case of commissions and adopts people don't mind if the artist takes liberty with style that makes it faster or just more enjoyable for the artist.Β A writer can adjust their style, but they can't really simplify their writing too much and expect to sell it, because they look unprofessional if their grammar is terrible especially, but also if they keep repeating phrasing, having syntax issues, etc.Β Most people don't mind if an artist draws a city scene and has incongruous elements together, but a writer doing it has to be especially skilled because otherwise the reader is just confused.

Sorry for such a long gap between your reply and this one from me!Β I've been buried with work and a few other things, but kept the reply stack to keep reminding me until I had the time.Β T_TΒ Again, sorry it was so long!Β I've got a few different landscape possibilities I might like to commission, though some are quite a bit more cityscape than wilderness.Β I didn't really see many examples of cityscape in your gallery, but I did like what I saw.Β One of the cities is sort of WWII era technology dieselpunk, and most of the wilderness landscapes would still either have glimpses of it in the distance, or would be more arcane.Β If I were to commission just one to start, what kind would you feel more interested in doing?
