Deviantart won't let me respond to your feedback message, so I'll just do so here. Thank you for writing such inspiring pieces. I feel that "The Quest for Happiness and the Mystery that it is" beautiful captured the nature of happiness. I enjoyed reading it.

I had written it after a week of seeing a lot of friends and associates posting or sharing motivations pictures or other captioned pictures about happiness and none of them seemed to really encompass happiness to me. Thinking on it for a while, trying to find the words to explain how I felt, I just wrote the first line, trying to think of the rest, failing utterly to force it out. I didn't post it or continue it until the next day after a very long and frustrating day, thoughts of being away from that mess as I sat down and opened my browser. There lay the unfinished, solitary line, mocking me. I read it again, popped on some music and just wrote it six times word for word over and over until finally my brain clicked and continued the rest stream of consciousness. I figured at the end I'd revise it, trim out some of the rambling I figured would be there, but reading it back I decided to leave it as it was. I don't think it would have been better had I tried to alter it, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you for your kind words.

If you don't mind terribly, might I ask the reason you decided to watch me? I'm flattered, but somewhat confused.

You have some interesting theory pieces for Homestuck, a growing Transformers-related selection, and you look like you have some concepts that can only be better refined with more practice and accumulation of techniques. In short, your gallery shows promise that would only get better with time, and it will be far easier for me to watch you now than to randomly find you later, while also allowing me to see the path of your artistic journey of experience and expression.

Ah, well thank you!
It's mostly just me dicking around in my spare time, though, to be honest... ^^;

XD The same could be said for me considering all the projects I don't have on dA, but then again I do have over two hundred pages of script online for Bloodstone Manor and over 600 not yet online in buffer. Dicking around, even for the sake of dicking around, does accumulate over time to some interesting stuff. I mean, I dicked around for over a year with general gaming concepts before starting The FARAD System.

Haha, well, yeah... That does happen. I'm still trying to figure out my 60-year timeline (plus extras) for ECAU... And other large fanworks sitting around in my brain... And a bunch of original-creation stuff I still need to figure out. At least you've got a handle on what you're doing, sounds like. I'm trying to get to that point still.

Heh, well, best of luck with that aspect (and of course, in general). I've been at it for twelve years now for trying to make 2/3rds of my writing all within the same universe and timeline, and having the others still related via multiverse theory and such. It's certainly caused quite a few rewrites and revisions to earlier works to have made some decisions much later rather than deciding earlier.

Hehe, thank you. That's a long time to be working on something... I can totally understand how it might warrant a lot of rewriting. I've been at work on creative projects in general for... Hmm, five years or so? Meh. I can't really give you any advice on that front, though, anyway. I wish you luck as well, though!

Well, I've been working on Bloodstone Manor, its sequels, prequels and side stories for that long in concept and not much shorter for scripting itself, other works for shorter, but the universe of works for at least that long in total. Though, it includes The FARAD System, Bloodstone Manor, and forty-three other works in progress at present. Best of luck to us both I suppose!
