by the way, I've been taking a look at your gallery. I've seen more than one picture with a mythical theme (Pandora, Aphrodite...). Very nice! I've always been interested in mythology, since I was a kid.

Okay, where and how to tell you what I like about the drawing. If I fail to elaborate, please forgive me. I'm battling a nasty mind-fuddling cold.

Well, for one, I love how it is designed. The symbol itself appears to be either like a tree or it's roots. That, I liked because of the whole story (well, all of the stories) of the Tree of Life and what the triskel means ties into that with the Norns...and every other mythology where the number three was an important factor.

In general, it all has an old feel to it. By the way that the creatures on it and the symbol itself is drawn, it looks like a woodcut (well almost like one). I was actually surprised and even more impressed when I looked at it in full view and say that it was drawn.

Yeah, and you caught me red-handed. I'm the same way, I've been heavy into mythology since I was a child and I can recite most myths (and the variations of them, off-hand...well, not Celtic too much. Too confusing!).

wow! I'm really impressed. Rarely (or never) do people understand so much of the symbology I used in that drawing. The truth is I wasn't directly thinking of the Tree of Life when drawing the roots, but I was trying to represent, with the wooden element, Nature as Earth and the Life that is part of it.

You do have quite a knowledge of mythology. And everybody knows (or at least has heard of) a bit about ancient greek mythology, but celtic is quite unknown. As you put it, the study of celtic mytholoy is much more confusing and difficult. The little I know about it is also scarce and not too clear.

So, coming from a mythology expert like you, the fav is even more enjoyable. Take care, and hope that cold goes off soon
