Can I give you a link I found very helpful? I just started using his "circulism" technique for shading a couple days ago and my work has already improved greatly. I think if you tried using this method in place of hard lines on the face, you will be pleased at the difference. Let me know what you think!

Thats a really good Idea, but that'll be hard for me to do on most of my recent drawings though. I mean it's hard to blend ink other than graphite of course. Next time I do use graphite, I totally will. Thanx C:

You have captured the feeling behind the work, especially in your portraits. To me, that's more important than realism. If you can pinpoint the feeling you want to convey, focus on what will do that and you have succeeded. You do that well. Eyes, expressions...very nice.
