congrats on the competitions by the way I love both the entries. I have been doing some anatomy tutorials to try to improve my skill. I think its time to give a drawing a go haha.
Your featured print, I noticed it and it is very inspirational. very realistic and all that If its all right with you, please could I scrap the idea of the neyitri and the Indian and have a go at that?

Also I was wondering where you can enter all these competitions? I think that entering some would be a great thing to devote me to putting more effort and time in to my art.

Finally I was wondering how you get the smooth pencil for skin. I use my finger to smudge at the moment but I think I would like a more accurate way of doing it.

Owh, by all means, go ahead!

If you want to enter competitions, you should join clubs. There are many clubs here on DA (look at those listed in my journal for a few examples) which all aim to promote their members' artworks.

Well, I use a cotton bud for smudging. I think it works better than tissue paper because cotton buds are small and good for precision work.
